What are some things you do NOT like about your FAVORITE resort?

Boardwalk Villas - I've read some people complaining about the lack of an inside quick service so they wouldn't have to go out to get food or refill their mugs, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to stay there because it's all about the vibe for me. I don't mind walking out to the boardwalk to grab a bite at the deli. I'm usually back and forth several times a day anyway. I've had some good scones and a corned beef sandwich there. At this point, I believe that ship may have sailed. I'm a bit curious though what they will eventually plan on doing with the empty space that once was BRG. Disney could put a quick service there, but I would love to see a walkup TS bar/lounge in that space! Something along the lines of Geyser Point, Three Bridges, and Banana Cabana. AbracadaBAR is great, but it's pretty small.

I'm going with the Parking at BWV- somehow we always end up to what seems like miles away from the entrance. Although I think no matter where you park there it's a long walk. I'm not looking forward to that walk on our September trip!

Ooh, I'd love a Bar Riva / Geyser Point type situation in the BRG space. Hope they do something with it as well as the now empty Jellyrolls space and the massively underutilized Atlantic Dance Hall. The challenge, unfortunately, is that if they want to make Boardwalk a destination, they don't have the parking to support it and would have to rely on foot traffic from EPCOT & other resorts and skyliner.

VGF:
1. Sharing bus with Poly. At a minimum, since monorail hits Poly first, the bus should hit VGF first.
2. Crowded lobby at times
3. Long walk to Gasparilla

RIV:
1. Lobby and gift shop could both be bigger
2. No walking path to a park

VGC:
1. I need more time to think of anything negative

1) Since I’ve almost given up on better QS options, I’ll settle for Carousel Coffee staying open later and having a more varied menu. I know I’m spoiled with Le Petit Cafe at RIV but it’s really not that difficult to have a decent coffee spot

RIV - only has a laundry in the East Wing

We had a studio in the West Wing during our last stay. Only options were to walk through the lobby or down to the ground floor and outside by the gym/courtyard area (to avoid the lobby). Mildly embarrassing for everyone to see your dirty laundry!

I second this. Also don't like that there is no off switch for the balcony lights.

Agree about the balcony lights! Adding the following gripes about my favorite resort:
1. I don't like the fence and gate they put in around the villas pool. Much more cumbersome to walk through the pool area to the back elevator;
2. I miss the gelato that used to be available at the Marketplace.

And on my 2nd favorite resort, the Poly Tower:
1. They put the balcony curtain in backwards so that it hides part of the amazing balcony view. Couldn't they have given us a split curtain instead?

OKW: I wish the studios had a sofa bed or murphy bed instead of 2 beds. I go solo a lot and would prefer to have a couch. That said, my work-around has been to get a 1BR and now I'm afraid I'm spoiled so...

My main complaint with Riviera is I feel like the quick service is too small, it needs more seating.

My main complaint with AKL is concierge level rooms are too difficult to book. I have had decent success with waitlists, but it's tough to plan with relying on waitlists.

BWV: QS is not an issue for comparison sake. GFV, Poly, BLT, CSR, OKW, SSR, AKL all require a long hike and/or going outside.

Our biggest compliant is Leaping Libations pool bar. Tear that disgusting thing down and build something cool like the new Poly tower bar. Please and thank you

I thought I was the only one who missed the gelato. I still dream about the pistachio gelato there. It was the only pistachio gelato in an authentic color, beige.
