What are my chances?????

I just sent an email for a room request at BLT for the north side even numbered room. We booked a 1 bedroom lake view for the last week in January but from my extensive research the north side even numbered rooms are listed as lake view but you can see the fireworks from those rooms. I have usually gotten my requested room in the past but my requests usually fell under a broad range which is why I always got what I asked for. What do you think my chances are for getting this room the last week in January?? It's well after marathon weekend and before spring break begins so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!! LOL.

I would venture to guess that the request you put in is one of the more popular requests for BLT.

So, I think your chances are just as good as anyone elses!!! But, going at a time which tends to be a bit less busy for DVC can only enhance those chances!!

I got it last month for a studio. It really depends on if they have checkouts on your arrival day. BLT is usually 100% occupied so when it is doesn't make a big difference.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for this. I put in a first and second choice, so if I get my second choice I won't be disappointed but it sure would be lovely if I get my first choice. If not there is always the top of the world lounge to see fireworks. I think it would be neat for my 2 year old dd to see fire works from our room before bed time though. I could have gone with a theme park view and initially that is what we booked but we were able to extend our trip by an extra night by doing lake view... So we had to weigh our options and the extra night won. LOL

Yes, I am sure it's a popular request but I was almost certain my normal request was a popular one too but I always seem to get... Probably because there are many more rooms available for that type of request, I always request the 15th floor and always get it. The view of the lake from there is magnificent. Fingers crossed!!!

I've put that request in 4 times to far, and it has been granted only once. Every other time, I have been told that no rooms meeting that criteria are available on the day that we checked in. I put that request in for our 5th stay next month, but don't hold out much hope that we will be placed in one of those villas.
