What are my chances?

I have made ADR's for my trip well in advance, my problem is I didn't snag a few that I really wanted, like Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park. I'm wondering how much luck do you think we'll have changing these when we are there? Should I even try? We will be there the 10th-18th of this month. I know they have POP Warner during that time and some people got free dining with the Disney Visa, (I wish we would have gotten this offer, but that is besides the point.) so what have been some of your experiences with changing reservations?

Just keep calling everyday at least once or like me many times during the day. I wanted CP so bad on Christmas day just to be guaranteed that I would get in the park, well I keep calling and calling and bam, I got it and for a decent time that I like. Good luck, dial dial dial, hopefully you will get what you want

You mean before we arrive? When you first call the dining line, they give you prompts... It let me to believe that residents or people already in the World got priority. Obviously this isn't so, Dang!

Just call everyday, 3 or 4 times daily. When I need to get something I call first thing in the morning, afternoon, when I get home from work, then right before the dining line closes down for the night. I was able to change our 1900 PF breakfast time yesterday. I called all day and it was "fully booked" then magically at 9:50 PM there was an opening.

That thing that everyone says really rings true, people really are cancelling all the time.
