I've got two contracts in ROFR land now so I'm actually not a member yet but I'm thinking ahead. Hopefully we can close by the 3rd week in Feb.

Assuming I get the 200 points what are my chances of getting a studio or a one bedroom for 5-7 nights at any DVC resort for the last week in May? I was thinking I would call and tell the CM that we will take any resort, studio or one bedroom and we will move one time if we must.

Can they search all the onsite resorts like that or will they have to search each one seperately?

I don't think you'll have a problem as you are being very flexible with resort choice, and even accommodation type. I would think that SSR would be your best bet, followed by OKW.

I don't think they can do a "DVC System" search for rooms...I believe it is resort by resort. So your best bet is to list the DVC resorts in your preferred ranking and just work down the list until you get your room!

I have booked a few trips on very short notice and have always gotten something ( even in peak season ) Remember, more rooms usually become available just before the 31 days out, so book whatever you can get and then call back ( often, if you can ) around 40-30 days out and try to snag a reservation for the resort(s) of your choice.

You should not have a problem other than possibly if you need the holiday weekend itself.
