What are my chances for an RCI exchange

Looking for Jan 12-19, marathon weekend and the following week. I was thinking this is a slow time of year, but is it busy for DVCers? I have seen an SSR, but I am wondering if anything else might appear.

It may but if you find OKW or SSR that fits your needs, I wouldn't take the chance.

I just saw a Jan 12-19 1 BR SSR tonight as well.

Marathon weekend is pretty popular.. I would grab what I could find!

If I were you, I would take what I could get, when I could get it that time of year.

Last year we were there that week, and did the DVC Member Cruise that weekend. We tried to get a studio for my SIL and DN, and there was NOTHING - anywhere.

So if I were you, trading RCI into DVC, I would take the first thing that fits your needs. You likely won't see much for that week/end.

Because DVC can be reserved nightly by members, single nights here and there are common for members - but for RCI member who can only reserve by the week - that what you see when you see it available!

Things change daily in terms of available units - so you never know what can happen. BUT if I were making a bet, I would have my money on Saratoga or Old Key West.

Thanks all. I reserved the SSR, but today a VWL came open so I switched to that. We stayed there before and really liked it. Was really hoping for AKV or BLV, but not for my week. There were 2 for BLV starting MLK weekend!!!
