What are modes of Transportation from Indiana to Kentucky?

My brother and I are planning a trip back down home to good 'ol Kentucky from Purdue, and I need a list of transportation modes (ie Greyhound, AmTrak) to get there. Are their other methods of transportation besides these? Please help us!

What part of Kentucky? You can get the Megabus cheap from Indianapolis to Cincinnati and then I am sure there are ways to get across into neighboring towns in KY. Amtrak only goes from Indy to Cincinnati or Chicago.

Is there a ride share board on campus or on one of the campus websites?
