What are croc socks?

My DF is in Florida, and just called me asking if I wanted some? I have no clue as to what they are, but somehow picture socks with holes.EW

Why can the man just not understand I want Disney crocs for my DD, not fake ones, but REAL ONES

Well, that's odd. I was going to say Crocs socks are just regular socks with different colored spots near where the holes are. That's the kind I've seen for sale at the Crocs stand in the malls around here.

But when I went to get a pic to post, they're different. Here are pics of Crocs socks currently sold on their website. You might want to ask your dh if the ones he's seen are a solid color, or have the spots.

No holes, though.

There are socks with dots, but the dots are at the ankle.

oops, I must have missed those!

I checked the website again, and there are a couple of different sock styles, but not the ones I've seen. Guess they didn't sell very well.

Thank you both. I still think they are EW...I asked him for Disney ones for my DD, like mine. I think the cheapskate DAD i have is trying to find ANY alternative. I will not be swayed.

Mrs Toad - the croc socks were just regular white socks with colored dots that lined up with the holes. Two of us can't be crazy, right? It's funny because I can't find a picture online either! I didn't know they changed the style.
