What are codes?

Please help me to understand what codes are. I have been going to disney almost every year for the past 7 years and I know nothing about codes, I must live in a bubble. Can some of you very educated disney fanatics, like myself, help me with understanding these codes, where do I get them and how do I use them.

Codes are discounts for rooms Disney gives out, most are not associated with a package.

Try www.mousesavers.com, they have all the codes and when they are available.

If you have an AP you may be able to get a value for $59 mod for $79, deluxe for maybe $124 (depending on the hotel and accomodations) etc. And they also have General Public codes, which means you do not have to have an AP.

Also, some people have called to ask CRO if a code is next to thier name in the computer if there is they will tell you what kind of room discount you can get.

Lots of people do not know about codes, we didn't the first couple of times. Now we own DVC, but occassionaly still love the codes.
