What AP rates did you get for last May2004 for Value?

Not to doubt the poster's word, but $49 would be 50% off reg. season rack rate of $99. AP rates are usually 35-40% disc., I'd expect value AP rates to be in the $59-65 range for this May if and when they do come out. I'm at $84w\aaa at Pop for 5\8-5\14, so I'm hoping for some AP rate relief myself.

$49.00 for a value resort, with an AP sounds right. On our first trip back in August 2001,(regular season), I was able to use a general code at All Star Sports for $49.00

For awhile now AP codes at the value resorts have only been about $5.00 less than general codes. Several DISers have received email or postcard rates of about $54.00 for the values. I believe these rates are good for 4/17-sometime in July.

I was thinking the same thing. As a CM we paid this price for pop last year which is 50% off rack rate. Some how I don't think that Disney is now giving guest CM prices. Since I too am a passholder, I keep track of the rates and I actually get an email before the rates are released. The rate of $49 is usually the rate AP holders get during value season, while $59 is the rate they get during regular season with $74 during the higher peak season. These are the only rates I've ever seen for AP holders for value season. Since May is regular season, I would guest AP holders should see a price of $59 a night, which is not too shabby. I have friends waiting for AP rates, so have been keeping an eye on my email and the boards.

I was wrong I didn't get Pop for $49 last May I got it for $47. At first, I used the AP code and got it for $49 and then while reading on mousesaver.com I noticed a better code if I use my Disney's visa card. I called back and they reapplied the new code. We stayed 3 nights. The additonal $6.00 that I saved paid for our icecream. Wonder if we'll ever see these lower rates again.
