What and where was your best service in a Disney restaurant?

Best service, food and over all experience was our visit to Narcoosee. Nicest restaraunt I had ever dined and and the waiter explained all the exotic foods on the menu to us... He was really nice and attentive. He really made the meal run smoothly. We went back a different day and saw the waiter we had the first time, but ended up with a different waiter who wasn't as attentive or friendly.


Also we had great service at the ESPN Club... The waitress was super knowledgeable about the food... and I when I was debating on weather to get the goat cheese burger or not she took it upon herself to get a sample of the goat cheese... If you are just in the mood for bar type food burgers/salads/chicken tenders... that is a great place!

My best service at a Disney restaurant was actually in California. Unfortunately the Vineyard Room is no longer open in Disney's California Adventure. But that was the ultimate best service I've had anywhere, let alone Disney.

Yes, even better than Victoria and Albert's. And I think Victoria and Albert's is probably the best service you'll find at WDW. The servers don't apply. I've heard that if they perform at an outstanding level at a signature restaurant, like Yachtsman Steakhouse, for example, and management takes notice, they'll invite the server to work for V&A if there's an opening.

My disclaimer is that I don't remember ever getting bad service at Disney.

Our best experience was at Tusker House: Donald's Breakfast Safari. Mike was our waiter and was just fantastic. He was there when he needed to be and not there when he needed to be. He took pics of all of us with our camera so I could be in some too. Our juice magically just kept refilling itself. Honestly, he was like a ghost. Things just kind of appeared. Oh and he was funny. Mike really had a great personality. He was a great waiter. I would suggest him to anyone going.

Cali Grill - had an excellent couple of servers there who were very chatty and well informed about the menu choices, and chatted to me and my partner about some things as well, plus the waiter knew his scotch which cheered me up!

Also had great service at Tutto Italia and Le Cellier

Jiko, FF, Yachtsman, Tutto...basically we have had really great service no matter where and when we go....with over 60 trips in my lifetime I can count on one hand how many bad service meals we have had

The places we've consistently had the best service are V & A, California Grill, Bistro de Paris, and Restaurant Marrakesh.

While there have certainly been hiccups here and there over the years, I have received consistently good service at the various signature restaurants, with Jiko, Citrico's and Yachtsman Steakhouse standing out.

Having never dined at any of the Signature restaurants, I cannot compare service at 'regular' restaurants to them. I have to say that we have had consistantly good service at Nine Dragons in Epcot. Everybody working in the restaurant is friendly, warm, and inviting, and makes you feel like you are part of their family, so-to-speak.

I know it's a buffet..but Boma! We never once had a dirty plate on our table and our waitress was almost psychic in anticipating our needs for beverage refills. We're going back!!

V&A has the best service hands down. For what you $$$$$ it better be great service. We always have excellent service at California Grill and Jiko. That's one of the big reasons that we return to these two on every trip.

Our service at Boma was excellent too. Every time I came back to my table after getting more food my dirty plate would be gone! And my water glass was always full ^__^

We had excellent service at CRT dinner in May...waiter was so nice, and very helpful. Also had superb service at Le Cellier (even though we were told our waitress was in-training...she did a wonderful job.)

We've actually had at least "very good" service at every Disney TS restaurant we've been too. So far, we've had lots of pixie dust at Disney eateries.

The best service BY FAR was at Sci-Fi at like 5pm. The guy was SOOO nice. He really went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. He really spent a lot of time with us and took a lot of pictures. He was by far the best anywhere.

The best service I've had recently was at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

50's Primetime (I have a wheat allergy and the chef made fried chicken for me back when I was eating meat; this last time he made me mac-n-chees, and they went to EPCOT for ice cream because there's was in a frig with cakes)
Crystal Palace (again, because of the allergy and this was last minute and they were still amazing).
Le Cellier (I was a veggie and the server and chef created a custom veggie wheat-free meal; additionally the server's sister-in-law is also allergic to wheat so he went above and beyond as far as safety and accomodations)

We've had good to very good service at most meals in WDW, but the Cali Grill service was outstanding - actually a shade better than V&A or the Bistro (which were both excellent).

I have a shellfish allergy and the chefs at numerous restaurants have come to our table to carefully discuss the menu and options with me. After 30 years of eating at WDW restaurants, I can honestly say that we've rarely had memorably "bad" service - and we've eaten just about everywhere.
