What Amusement Park is nearest to you?

First the Ugly - Clementon Amusement Park - I can't beleive this qualifies as a park, I was a life guard at the park in '93 '94.

Second the Rude - Six Flags Great Adventure

Same here, we are about 20 minutes from Clementon Lake Park(my work picnic was there for several years), and one hour from Six Flags Great Adventure(been there about five times).

Six Flags over Georgia is closest to me, but I have only been there three or so times in my life. I don't ride thrill rides, so there's not much else to do at Six Flags.

3.5 hours from THE greatest Amusement Park in the State! (WDW). I also have a place not too far from me, called "BOOMERS" which has the Dania Beach Hurricane Rollercoaster, which I have NEVER been ON yet!

I live in lexington, so its a toss up between Kentucky Kingdom and King's Island. As for Times Ive been to Kings island once and as far as I'm concernered never going back. Tho I have been to Kentucky Kingdom too many times. I remember when it was not owned by Six flags. Man thoes were the days...

-Shep, where you at

I live about 45 minutes from Six Flags Great America and have been a season passholder for many years and go about a doxen times per year, maybe more considering how busy my schedule is.

Indiana Beach. And I've been to it twice.

Six Flags over GA, I'm about 3 1/2 hours away. I've only been there about 4 or 5 times though. Last time I was there was back in 96 I believe. I have no desire to go back really. The lines are too long and it just costs too much. We're only 6 hours away from Disneyworld! :jester:

I grew up with yearly day trips each summer to a small park called Conneaut Lake Park. They have one of the original Blue Streak coasters (similar to the one at Cedar Point). They have gone downhill the last decade or so but that was vacation for us each summer. (Until the year I was just short of 15 yr. old, we went to WDW for the first time, E-tickets and all, it was great!!! Even if Space Mt. did open after we left.)
The other park that is close is Waldameer. Very small and it now boasts a small water park too. (Really cold compared to the ones in WDW.) Ironically, never went there till I had been married for quite a few years.
=0)

Six Flags Great Ameica is the closest. But we haven't been there since before we had children....many years. In my opinion it is dirty, overpriced, has yucky food and full of ignorant children/teens unchaperoned.

I live in between Paramount's Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens. Though actually BG is closer. We have season's passes to BG. Used to have them to PKD as well. Haven't been there in a couple of years though.

Six Flags Elitch Gardens in Denver CO. I've been twice within the past 5 years. I remember going as a kid back in the 80's before Six Flags bought out Elitches. Back then Elitches was small with very few rides....

I think I am about an equal distance from: Hersheypark, Dorney Park & Great Adventure (NJ). All are about an hour from me.

We have two nearby...

Six Flags Darien Lake has some great coasters, including Superman!

Seabreeze, in Rochester, is a smaller, really neat park with a classic wooden coaster and a great water park.

We've been to either or both each year for the past 10 years or so.

Whitegloves, I spent all my summers up Conneaut Lake as a kid! My parents had a cottage there.
Dh and I went back last summer. Lots of memories there.

We live close by to Kennywood Park. Been there too many times to count, since I was a toddler. It's a great park! Love the new "Phantom's Revenge"! We go at least twice a summer.

I think we are about equal distance from SIX FLags in MA, and Canobie Lake park in NH.

We're the same as glo.....about 1 hr. from Six Flags NE and 1 hr. from Canobie Lake Park in NH.

As the crow flies I'm closer to Animal Kingdom. The closest driving in a car would be MGM.

gotta go north to Canobie Lake
gotta go west to Six Flags NE

Wish Canobie offered a season pass - may be too expensive this year for a day trip.

I think it is Six Flaggs in Sgawam MA. I have never been there heard good and bad about it. :D
