I am looking for resrt rates for Dec 2022. Nothing at any resort! Tried May 2023, figuring it is far enough out, still nothing at any resort! I am not looking under special offers, or discounts, just regular room rates. I know they are not all full. What am I doing wrong?

what are the dates you are choosing? and how many days (this matters alot)

Any dates in Dec, 5-7 days. Same with May. I am looking for Value resorts, but left open check for any resort, price low to high, and it shows none at any resort. That is why I think the system is trying to check for some stupid discount or rate, that I am not trying to get. As I said in original post, I am not looking under special offers.

family size?

I just put in Dec 2-7 and values show just fine Sports and Music, and most Mods show up
Dec 15-21 Same they show plenty.
May 9th-15th plenty as well

Similar results to meglen. I went to MDE online (not logged in) clicked on places to stay, and put in random dates. Cheapest for Dec 2-7 was Sports (dis censors didn't like my abbreviation!), 170/nt. More expensive later in Dec.

Yes. I know it is not sold out in all rooms and all resorts. That is why I am asking what I am doing wrong. It is clearly user error. As I said, the system seems to be trying to use a discount I am not looking for, because obviously every room at every resort is not sold out for May 2023. You can see it, I can't. How do I get it to show up for me?

Edit: I know there is availability. I am not asking that. I am asking what am I doing wrong that I cannot see it?

As @georgina said you can make sure your logged out. Also us putting in work to make sure things were indeed not sold out was a good gesture so I don't understand why all the attitude.

Clear your cookies, try an new browser, try incognito mode

We both know they would not have sold out all rooms at all resorts for both Dec 2022 and May 2023. I think you simply did not read my question. You made up in your own mind what you thought I really meant, and took it upon yourself to check for availability. I never asked if there was availability. So you "putting in work" to check for availability does nothing to answer my question, which was quite clearly asking for help with the website. I stated all along it was user error. I asked "What am I doing wrong?" I never asked you or anyone to check the site for availablity.

If you were not aware alot of times dates and amount of people can change everything in the system. Also the amount of days. sometimes lets say the 5th-9th show but the 5-8th wont. Hope it works out have a great night.

Try incognito mode on your browser. That usually works for me.

Agree. But again, you being able to see it does not help me see it. I can't book it if I can't see it. I was asking "What am I doing wrong?", not if there is any to book. I know there is.

It is frustrating when you can't find the information you are seeking, but @Meglen and @georgina were trying to help you, even if you don't see it that way.

It's impossible to know what you're "doing wrong" without being there to look over your shoulder. I used to ask my techs to tell me a story about what they were doing right before an instrument malfunctioned. Sometimes, I could troubleshoot over the phone once I knew what they had already tried.

So given that, tell us a story. What have you tried? A different browser? A different device? Mobile device, laptop or desktop? Do you have an ad blocker running or are you behind a firewall? Are you logged in on your MDE? Any info that you can supply might help in determining what the problem is.

Bring up the results and one specific resort where it says nothing is available and you'll have the option to switch from "room" to "package." Then you can select "all resorts" from the search box and it will give you results.

It's likely that the rooms have minimum stay requirements so it won't allow you to book anything for only two days.

Thank you. That was a truly very helpful response.
I had tried incognito, but not changing browser. I finally cleared cookies as a last resort, because it wipes out stuff I want to keep in my cookies.
But it worked after that. I think it had an old search stuck in there, that must have been under some discount. I always search without discount, and once I find what I am looking for, then check for discounts last because they are so limited. I wish I knew how to see if it is trying to apply some discount.
Thank you again, Marionnette.

I wasn't looking for 2 days, I was looking for 5-7 days. Why would switching to "package" help? Are there more under that category?
Thank you for your response.

I don't know what is going on, but I have been trying for a few weeks for a room at the Yacht or Beach Club for next June. I've cleared my cookies and used different web browsers. I've plugged in different dates, too There is zero availability at either resort. I posted about this in two other threads, too, where others posted that they were having difficulty finding availability months out. Who knows?

FYI - just in case you aren't aware, you can delete only Disney web cookies. I do that about once a week because MDE is just awful with being wonky with cookies and browsers. It doesn't dump anything of importance in regards to browsing or saved data that you'd need or care to keep.
