What airline do you fly on?

if fares are within $25 of each other, we will usually pick AA over other carriers because we get reward miles. if it's more than that, we will fly whatever's cheapest as long as it's not united or US airways (i just hate them).

The cheapest one (total including baggage), with the best flight times of day, and the shortest flight duration. Balance is key!

Flying from a smaller market airport is tough - limited choices, and only one choice for nonstop to MCO... or drive to, and park at, a larger airport - but that adds tremendously to travel time ;)...

Southwest...bags are free, the fares are decent (and if you 'rebook' the same exact flight for a lower price they will give you the difference as a credit - saved $225 one trip!), they are now part of Magical Express, and they've got a direct flight to FL out of our local airport.

We usually fly Delta or AirTrans. We have used AirTrans more recently because they tend to have non-stop flights at times that work best for us. Right now we have AirTrans flights for our WDW trip this October, and plan to fly Delta for our Universal trip in December.

For Airtran the only time you pay for luggage is if you check it right? Not Carry-one.

Definitely Southwest. I have the companion pass for my wife and I always have rapid rewards tickets tickets available. They use points in the new rapid rewards program instead of credits (as of March 1) but the benefits are the same. Their service is pretty stripped down but they have plenty of direct flights from Nashville to Orlando. Also, I found out that you can now use the luggage tags if you are staying at a Disney resort and flying SW which is awesome.

We usually take the earliest flight there and the latest flight back. For me the earliest flight is usually around 6:15 and the latest flight leaves at like 8:45 and that works great.

We flew Delta/Northwest last year and I will never do that again. I did not think I was going to get home.

The only non-stop airline out of Atlantic City is Spirit. Spirit looks cheap until you add up all the fees. The last thing they did was lower the checked bag weight to 40 lbs - for some reason that really aggrevated me more than all the other fees they've imposed over the years. AirTran is currently at ACY - but you have to go through Atlanta. Now that Southwest has purchased them I'm hoping Spirit gets some real competition.:lmao:

Southwest for us! Always!
Very happy with them. Id like to try Jet Blue, but they never have cheaper fare at the time I book.

Qantas into Dallas, then code share (American Airlines) from for the 2nd leg. 2 checked bags each included.

OK, we're international, so a bit different in the rules. :lmao:

We've been flying southwest since our first family disney trip in 2000. They fly direct flights from RI to Orlando and Tampa. We get the lowest prices by booking online as soon as the new flights are available.

I have flown other airlines for business but prefer southwest. They only fly 737 and 737-400s. All of their pilots can fly the planes so they don't cancel flights for pilot availability issues. Maintainance is easier when all planes are the same. Again, fewer cancellations.

The woman who books our business travel uses southwest whenever possible since they are reliable.

I don't have any personal ties to SW. I just have had good experiences with them even before the bag fee junk.

My favorite trip was in 2007 when the 2 1/2 hour flight started decending after less than 2 hours. I thought oh great. Then the pilot told us he hit a good tail wind and got us there early! Extra half hour in WDW:banana::banana:

My mom always uses Jet Blue. I was even pricing her some Sept dates and couldn't believe the price difference between them and others on cheapflights.com. Jet Blue was about $80 cheaper!

Delta.
Flew JetBlue once and if they were available around here, I would switch in a heartbeat.

I fly from Canada so Westjet all the way whenever possible, I don't mind spending a couple hundred dollars more to fly with them but sometimes you have to go where the best deal is. Also I will pay more for a flight that arrives in Orlando early afternoon and a departs later in the afternoon. Also I WILL NOT transfer planes more then once. So many variables when choosing a flight:scratchin

Using Southwest next week, but in past I have used Jetblue, Airtran, USAir and Delta.
it seems with 2 free checked bags which is needed for our lengh of stay plus direct flights with great times for the price it is the best deal available. $180 RT from Providence RI

Airtran from Charlotte which will become Southwest now that the merger papers were signed this week.
