What age did you first take your child to Disney World??

Our kids were 13 months and 2 years during their first trip to WDW, however, my daughter was seven months old and her brother was -5 months when we went to DLP after a baltic cruise on the Magic.

At those young ages, the trips aren't really for the kids. They are for everyone else. While it is still fun to see how a baby or toddler reacts to a huge mouse or a princess, they'll never remember it.

I took my daughter at 2 1/2 on the Disney cruise followed by a week at Disney. We drove down from NY. It was one of my favorite times in all the times we went to Disney! I knew she wouldn't remember it but I knew that I would! She was so great the whole vacation, never any problems- when it was time to nap we just went into one of the shows (that universe of energy one in EPCOT was a GREAT place to nap, as is the hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom- she slept right through them!

I guess if I ever thought that it would be the ONLY time we would go maybe I would have waited but I knew we would go back. She went at 4,5,7,8,9 and now its been 3 years and we are going back again at 12 for 2 weeks- but that trip at 2 1/2 has always been the best one!

Oldest was 9 on our first trip (great age I may add!).
DD was 8 (pretty great age too!).

Hope to take DGD when she is 5.

Took one daughter at 2 months..of course she got little out of it! LOL...The other one at 11 months...she loved the characters but her next visit at 20 months she was really into it! That was some 400+ visits ago and at 28 she's still going! :)
