What about new codes?

From what I understand, if I have a reservation made at a certain price and a code comes out that gives me a better price I can "re-book" the vacation at the lower price (assuming availability for the code). How will DISavers handle this?

If a new discount comes out after you book, Dreams will re-book the reservation for you under the new code (the way we do with all of our clients). There is no change fee assesed for this. Of course, your commission rebate will be based on the lowered price after the code is applied.

Would I still have to search for all the codes, or would they find the codes and apply them for me? I'm still not sure about this whole idea. This is our first trip to WDW (we may not get to go back), I already have a great rate on a car with National, booked my own air through Expedia on USAir, am a member of DC, and am just hoping for a code for our room only ressie....not sure how much more they could help me. Plus, I'd have to pay the membership fee up front without knowing how much it could save me.

I think DISavers would still watch for discounts for you but if you read these boards & Mousesavers regularly you might hear about it before them. When are you going? Have you booked your room yet? That would give us a better idea of how much you might save. ~~

I am going November 22-29 staying at WL woodsview. I have room only ressies ($1413-AAA rate) and also a resort magic package through DTC for ($2900-DC member). I have a guaranteed full sized rented through National for $185 (total). I know my air is a done deal, but for info for others, I'm flying from BWI to MCO for $800 (4 tickets) on USAir with great flight times (get to MCO by 9:30 AMM and leave at 4:35 PM).

So if you had gone through DISavers (during introductory period) your rebate on the AAA rate would have been 76.35 (141.30 less 49.95 & 15.00) and on the resort magic package it would have been 225.05 (290.00 less 49.95 & 15.00). If you book after the intro offer your rebates would be 20.00 less. ~ ~
