What a weekend!

After my post last week asking to be talked out of a last-minute trip to WDW, we were able to get a room at ASMu. I was so excited I was up at 2:30 Saturday morning! Finally pulled into the resort at noon. Spent a most wonderful day at Epcot. The weather was gorgeous and Epcot was not crowded at all. Sunday was spent at MGM Studios and MK. All in all, the weekend was spectacular. Just what we needed.

Met Engr Daisy while we were there. She said she hasn't been on the boards because her computer died. Look for her around the end of April or early May to be back.

dandave, sadly, no we didn't. we made it to that side right after the 3:00 parade. Can you say loooooonnnnngggg wait? And we were already holding a FP for Space Mtn. Does a mental ride count? Which state park?

We went to St. Andrews State Park. It's right near us.

We are thinking of going to the park in the Destin area some time this summer. Right now the name escapes me. May ask for some dining recommendations when the time gets close, if it's okay. We really like Nicometo's in Niceville but want to branch out and see what else is out there.

I'd be happy to recommend some places. Just let me know.
I've only been through Destin a couple of times on the way to Saturn in Pensacola. We just moved here last summer from GA. I'm still getting lost around here.
