What a weekend.....Pictures posted

Ok so I never have had a weekend like this.....I entered 5 pictures in a local contest just for the fun of it. This afternoon husband and I went to the festival to look at the other entries and see if I was lucky enough to win a ribbon.....ok so I said...."hon, I have a ribbon on my picture"....."oh my its a big ribbon".....I started shaking.....oh my! I won best of show....oh holy cow...I was so excited. Then the man running the event came up and said Congratulations you really cleaned up this year.....I was like what...I am thrilled...he goes "but you won alot more too"....Girls I won 4 ribbons....and enough G.C.'s to buy the new camera bag I wanted.....oh holy cow!!! What a weekend.....and wait on top of that....


My son hit his first out of the park home run last night....Now where was my camera then.... And let me tell you this is better to me as a Mom than any ribbon I will ever win!!!

So I had to share....my heart is still pounding.

The Contest was in Concord Oh, at their home days festival.

The pics were of some of the guys from my sons baseball team, a butterfly, and a man in Gettysburg dressed in civil war gear. I will see if I can post them.

Way to go Cindy!!! I'm glad your friend was able to snap a pix of your son's homeroon. Being a soccer mom to 3 girls I know how important those special moments are!
