That has to be the lowest of the low, thieves going to the cinema and taken things out of peoples bags. I wonder if they pay for a ticket to get in or try and sneak in when the guy that looks at the tickets is busy with other people.

Will keep bag on my knee now or put a foot through the strap of my bag if putting it on floor.

I have never left my handbag on the floor in the cinema, to be honest I wouldn't dream of doing so. There are alot of unsavory people about all too willing to nick stuff. My bag always stays safely tucked on my lap.

Hope your daughter manages to get something out of it from the police or the insurance.

something similar happened to me about 17 years ago when i was living in paris as a poor student, so nothing of any value, no cards etc were taken, but i do get the violation issues..
hope you both feel better soon, there are a few words i could use for these people however this is not the place
