What a surprise at work today

I got to work today and the air conditioner is broken! It was 98 here yesterday and should be the same today. Believe me, there are no ocean breezes coming into the office today! Hopefully, it will be fixed today.

Well the ac guy was here and the ac is shot. Boss is away but we (me) authorized a new one anyway. It will be hot, hot, hot here all day today.

Air conditioning at work? What is this concept? I am not familiar with it. Working on the steam trains during a hot summer day gets up to around 130 degrees. But honestly, I would rather work on the train than in a stuffy office without air conditioning. I hope you can get it fixed soon. Meanwhile, get a fan!
