What a star studded week!

I just have to share my excitement...

Last Saturday I was at PI making my weekly check of the island. I noticed someone in an ECV pull up to the AC and I walked over to start a convo about how AC is closed, yet they have that horrible celebration party instead. The lady looks at me and says "Are you zulemara from the dis?" I said yes and we talked for 15 or 20 minutes.

Then I went to Pulse dancing and noticed some guys staring at me. Just as I was leaning into my friend to say "protect me" one of them came over and said "are you zulemara from the Dis?"

That was two in one night!

Then I had a great time at the bawb dole whip meet on Tuesday and met some wonderful people.

Then today I noticed Pete updated his facebook to say he was at Ft Wilderness working on project X(no he didn't give me any hints =) and I left a message asking him to come to MK and ride my boat on the way. Guess what?? He did!

So on my first trip from MK to Ft Wilderness tonight, he walked on the boat, looked up into the Pilot house, and shook my hand. I knew right away who he was! I immediately asked my deckhand to switch with me and I had a great conversation on the way to MK with Pete, Walter, and Theresa!

It was so much fun and completely made my night! Needless to say it has been a fun week for meeting people from the Dis. Here's to counting down to the podcast cruise! Only 9 days left!!!

LOL well I certainly didn't think so many people recognized me. I have my picture in a few spots on the boards, so perhaps that's why, but I usually just hang out here, the LGBT board, and the rumor board so I can complain about PI

and it was sssooo appreciated! That shows dedication to fans to do something like that. It also offset the morons at the end of the night yelling at me because they can't read the signs! Campground on the right, Wilderness Lodge on the left. It's not rocket science! I know pete said he had to renew his annual, but it could have been done earlier, so thank you for waiting! I was just LUCKY to be on that boat at that time. I had just gotten on board and it was my first trip of the night. I spend more time on a dock than I do on a boat sometimes!

I felt like a celebrity today. I was going through the drive-thru at Chic-Fil-A at lunch and the manager leaned over and said hello to me. Then another worker said Hi to me and that she didn't recognize me with my longer hair.

How often are you on the boat? I will have to find an excuse to take a ride and meet a fellow DIS'er.

I almost always work at night and typically closing shift. I generally work wed, thurs, fri, and sunday. It varies sometimes, but wed, thurs, fri I'm almost always there.

I can be on either the 2 cruisers on the campground route, the cruiser on the Lodge route, or deckhand on the Ferry boats. I get moved around a lot so it's hard to catch me. You're usually best to walk up to the transportation booth just outside the ferry boat exit at MK and ask where I'm at.

I am hoping to get a picture with the captain of the cruise ship with me in my costume. I think that would make a sweet picture!
