I got a great deal from DU on this 4 night Wonder 12/03/06-12/07/06. cool1: 2 Adults, 3 kids Two Cat. 10 Connecting, Deck 2 - $2100 )

Maybe it was because we are the only ones interested in this sailing?

mommyrom, before you get excited---I am not on your cruise. I am cruising Feb 19. I, too and a lone Dis'er cruising on the Wonder. We have a thread started for cruisers like ourselves "Lone Dis'ers Cruising the Magic or Wonder". While Kimmielee and I are excited to be chatting about our cruises, we want MORE excitement Come over and chat with us until someone else joins your 12/03/06 thread.

We'll be on your cruise!!! It will be DH, DD & DS 8 y/o twins, myself and we are bringing my parents. We just got off the 7 night Western Nov 5 and booked onboard to get the ship credit. I also had a ressie through DU, but the DCL onboard quote was within $10, plus we got $200 in credit. We're in connecting cat 9 cabins. My parents have only cruised once before, it was on a 2 night cruise when they lived in FL. This will be our 5th. We're going to go to MVMCP either before or after the cruise. My Mom and Dad only went to WDW once when they lived in FL and always said that they wanted to go again. I thought it would be a great add on to the cruise. Glad to see that there's someone else sailing with us!

Thanks for the Mousefest information...We just picked our December 2006 dates out of the sky when we booked...Little did we know!!!!...Being first-timers on DCL, is this anything we should be overly concerned about?
Any worries?
Any benefits to this trip?
Also, we are staying 2-3 days before AND after the cruise and were planning on maybe staying at Swan or Dolphin...Should we check elsewhere?

The MouseFest MegaMouse Meet will probably take place at the Dolphin the Saturday after the cruise. The Swan/Dolphin is a terrific location, especially at holiday time. Also looks like there will be a 4th annual DIS meet at Jellyrolls Friday, Dec. 8th! It's a GREAT time to be at WDW, unless you aren't interested in running into other Disney internet junkies!

We just returned for a 7 night Western (12/3/05). We had a great time and had to book again. We have three girls (13,9,7 at sailing time). We are already counting down the days!

I suppose I can assume you had a great time since you already booked! Our kids will be 8, 5 and 3...Any DCL "secrets" would be appreciated, as this will be our first cruise as a family...We figured go for it and cruise with Mickey! What room did you get for your trip? Glad to hear you had a nice time...I am already planning in the back of my mind that we will re-book onboard as well, since I just know our trip is going to be awesome! (Can't we go nooowww?!?!?! )
