What a mix up!

I posted a week or so ago that there was a discrepancy with my total. I added a day and the price actually reduced by about $400 dollars. Well, I finally found out today what happened.

I had called about the ZBH code, and they said that there were no more available for POR and tried to talk me into a cabin. I told them no thanks, and went about my merry way. At this point, I checked online, and the total was less than I expected. I freaked out! I was worried that my dates were wrong, or dining wasn't included or something. I knew Disney isn't in the habit of going "hm, they might need a little financial help, lets just knock of a few hundred dollars".

So the insanity starts. I call Disney 3 times and argue with them that I actually owe them more money! They were adamant that I didn't, so I finally, let it go. I have visions of standing at the check in at POR forking over the extra moolah that they are refusing to take now. I mean I am practically begging them to take the money!

Fast forward to today. I go to the mailbox and inside is yet another nifty little teal and purple envelope. (Hey Disney, money and tree saving tip. I don't need one of these a week. I still owe you money, I have a deadline. I get it.) Well low and behold, what is in this nifty little envelope but another confirmation letter with the ZBH code on it! Now it makes sense! I am smacking my forehead for not realizing it sooner!

So the moral of the story is: Even if they say nothing is available, that may not necessarily be true. Keep trying.

Thats great so you were able to save money. CONGRATS.. I learned for my last trip, disney makes alot of mistakes. Between room reservations, dining, etc, my trip for 9 people was very stressful. Everytime, I called a found another mistake that disney made. LIke one time, I wanted to eat breakfast at Chef Mickeys well I made my reservationns 180 days in advance (got up at crack of dawn to be the first on the phone) and found out a week before I was to go, that one of the CM's punch in Cape May... And there was no more reservations for Chef Mickeys, so I was out of luck. I was mad at first but then let it roll of my back. But I found at disney, to keep asking because you can get many different answers and sometimes you finally get the answer you are looking for!!
