What is the matter with English Rugby?

A couple of suggestions for Ashton-

• Stop picking players from Leicester and Wasps to the exclusion of others
• Stop calling up players who are too old and slow
• Stop playing a game which slow and laborious
• Take a chance and stop going for the "safe" option - apparently it doesn't work
• Don't pick League players and put them straight into the centre's at International level - they're not that good

A mostly shocking display, the only light IMHO was Robinson, other than that a bunch of old women

But, good news is the Premiership starts this week, so the important Rugby starts - COME ON YOU GLAWS!!

Safe is boring Matt !! What they need is young, fast, players who will take risks. England played defending rugby tonight, and that is not what people like to watch. ATTACK GUYS !!

It's a bit like the golf ........... Tiger takes risks (although sometimes misses the fairway) LOL......... but he's exciting to watch. On the other hand you have people like Colin Montgomerie (sorry Colin), but he's boring !!

Best rugby match I ever saw was a Wales/Scotland game at Murrayfield.
All the "really" famous players - Gareth Edwards, Phil Bennett, JPR, etc.
Best rugby game I have ever seen, even although we got hammered !!
But it was attack all the way - from both sides, which is what we need.

Why is Farrell playing?? He's too slow, can't pass, and has not got the tactical skills or experience for playing Rugby Union!

Don't agree about the Leicester or Wasp players though Matt - they have proved themselves at club level but just cannot repeat that form for England - whether that is their fault or the England managements fault I don't know
Having said that I think Balshaw or Simpson-Daniel would do a lot better than Farrell!

With it looking like Robinson and Noon being out of the competition I really can't see us beating Samoa or Tonga!
