Oh sweetie, what a heartwarming post

. It's peaceful for the soul to take the time to reflect indeed and realize the struggles we've overcome and helped make us who we are.
As a proud Army mom, I can somewhat relate to your pain. Our dear DIL had a very difficult time when our DS was deployed two yrs back to back, 1 yr Korea, 1 yr Ramadi. Thankfully they were stationed very close to us and we could cry on each others shoulders. Like you, without endless support, faith, family, prayer circles, etc. it would have made for much more tough going. Praise God he didn't share his real missions until he was home safe and sound, then I am still kept from much. Our trials and tribulations are never easy, but thankfully with God's grace he supplies us the strength and faith to see us through.
Please know that many hearts and prayers are with you and your soldier boy Matt, specially during his upcoming deployment. You are a dearheart Tina and I hope the military appreciates your dedication. My sincere thanks go out to all the brave military and their families for their sacrifices. Thanks to our fine military we can sleep safely at night.
PS ~ When you get that road trip planned, please let Matt know we’re ready, willing and able to share some awesome crab cakes with you!! BTW – really like your new siggie pic!!
