Please help,
I have Amazon gift cards, and I would like to know the best way to use them towards my trip to Disney. I know I can’t use them to purchase a visa gift card, but does anyone know how I can use them?

Thanks!

Landry gift cards if you'll be eating at Landry's locations there. You can also purchase gift cards for everyday expenses and then just shift that money from your budget to your Disney fund.

Landry's (RFC, TRex, Y&Y), Starbucks, Southwest, Uber. We live 2 hrs from the airport so we stay nearby the night before we fly, I usually get us a gift card for a restaurant in the area. Do you need anything for the trip? Luggage, packing cubes, swimsuits, clothing/shoes, sunblock. We are going on a cruise next month and I have been saving Amazon cards for it. So far I got Keens for DD, a snorkeling set, small travel bottles, a swimsuit for myself, a luggage scale (ours is MIA since our last trip), luggage tag holders, lanyards, a belt for DH, and a portable 4 port USB charger. I started a list of things we needed awhile back and little by little have been buying what we need.

You could also get Disney things like shirts, autograph books, Funkos. I usually get DD a Disney book, like a Hidden Mickey book or a word search.

I use them to purchase my groceries via Amazon PrimeNow. In addition to the perishable foods, I also order items that can't fly with me in my carry-on, like full-size toiletries, laundry detergent and beverages.

I use mine to buy Southwest gift cards for the flight. The $200 cards work best. We also get Hotels.com gift cards for our airport hotel stay the night before and for any non-Disney trips (sacrilege, I know!).

This. I just used the Amazon gift card exchange... I have a very bad habit of carrying around gift cards I’ve received forever in my purse instead of spending them, so I was able to trade 3 in that were worth a total of $60 for a redemption value of $50 in the form of an Amazon gift card. I used that $50 for stuff I was going to buy from Amazon anyway, and used the cash I would have spent on that stuff to buy a $50 Disney gift card. So I “lost” $10 in the gift card exchange, but those cards would have sat in my purse forever anyway... well worth it to me.

Totally not related but another tip... I always cash in all of the loose change in the house right before vacation and I usually end up with $100-$150 from that, which goes right to a Disney gift card. It’s like it’s free money because the change is another thing that typically just sits around forever at my house taking up space! I’m sure many people are better at keeping up with it than I am... but this works for me.

We bought our Disney pins and our new personalized shirts for next year on Amazon.
But you could use them for prime now when you get there for your food and such.
