What’s something you’re weird about..

Even the thought of touching a cotton balls makes me ill. If a buy a bottle of pills with a cotton ball stuffed into the top, I have to have somebody else take it out. It's the "crunch" of the fibers. Uhhhhh ... getting grossed out just thinking about it.

LOL my boss has the same hatred of touching cotton. The worst thing he did was tell his employees this, because now this happens at least 3 times a year:

IMO, so long as all the dishes are in and nothing is on top of each other, then it’s done

If you put the soup bowls together, they fit into each other so you’re not wasting space. If you put a bowl behind a plate, the bowl takes up two spaces so it’s not as efficient. Hope that makes sense.

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet......if I DVR something on TV when I go to watch it I can only watch it during the time of day/night that it is on in real life. In other words, if, for example I DVR an episode of Modern Family, that show is on at night, so I can only watch it during the evening/night. If I DVR Judge Judy, well that show is on in the afternoon, so I can only watch it during the daytime.
I actually thought many people felt like this. I didn't think it was strange until my DD told me I was very weird for being like that. Who knew??

I don't lend books to basically anyone except my sister and I think I'd cry if someone dogeared a page in one. I get very upset if my books get bent or "injured" in any way...

with M&M's I like to empty the bag onto a lipped plate and eat the colors in order, its the same order each time - brown first, orange, green, red, yellow, and save the blue's for last.

The point of recording a show is so that it can be watched at ANY time of day that is convenient for you. For instance, some people work nights. So they record the night time shows they want to watch so they can watch them during the day time when they are at home. Otherwise they would never get to see them if they had to had them only at night.

I load the dishwasher and my husband re-loads it.

This happened one too many times here. Guess who is in complete charge of doing dishes now. If I can't do it "right" then he gets to do it all.

I have to use eggs from the carton from the middle outwards, and evenly on both sides
I can't use the bread closest to the opening. I am literally forearm deep in the bread bag to get the piece I want
I leave the last bite of everything, and the last sip of everything. I am literally incapable of finishing anything. Luckily my partner doesn't mind cleaning up behind me, lol.
Towels MUST be folded in thirds, and washrags must be rolled for the basket I keep them in
The shower curtains must ALWAYS be closed (to avoid mold growing in folds)
Shoes don't belong on your feet in my house, traipsing dirt everywhere
and I can't get in bed with my street clothes on. at all.

This is my mom and when she didnt believe me when I told her many people do not do this I told her to ask her friends. My mom does work nights as a nurse but still only watches the night shows on her evenings off

I watch my soaps at night because I work during the day. According to your method I’d be screwed!

Does anybody routinely sleep with their bedroom door open? With the rare exception of maybe having to listen for a little one, who wouldn't want the door closed?

All doors open at night...closing them freaks me out - it's TOO quiet.

How about noise?? Family members cranking up the tv too loud in the living room while im trying to sleep? My son listening to youtube too loud in his room? If i left my door open, i'd never get to sleep!

No one eats the ends of the bagged, presliced sandwich bread. It would be weird to do so.

Now, a fresh loaf...the ends are the best part! I always claim the ends.

Why though? It seems like a waste of garbage and money. If it’s just two people in your house how long can a few dishes take? I’ve never heard of this before, people using disposable dishes over regular as their every day dishes. Sure camping, pool parties, birthday parties, ect. But not to use just everyday around the house.

We used to always use disposable, when the kids were younger. I did not have time to do dishes each night with giving kids baths, going to school full time and working full time (and DH doing the same) and letting the dishes sit is not an option in my eyes. That has stopped, and now I just fill the sink as I cook and wash as I go.

Yes, you are correct. According to my mothers “theory”, you should only watch them on a day that you have off since it is a daytime show

Yep. We just switched bedrooms, last weekend, with my oldest. We wanted the bigger room so we could have more fans. So, we will have 4 fans and the TV soon (gotta get the other fans out of the storage closet). Dh used to play a thunderstorm app, too.

I was thinking maybe it's one of those times where someone doesn't think things through. Then someone else says, "Wait you're doing it that way? Why don't you just . . .?" And the other person goes, "Oh! Duh!"

Tags...on anything, but particularly on any type of clothing. I immediately cut tags off. And like others, there are eating utensils and some drinking cups that I refuse to use because I don't like the way they feel. It drives my husband crazy!
