What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Today is DH's birthday so he gets to pick the menu. I made black magic chocolate cake from scratch and he requested coconut-pecan frosting. He made homemade peanut butter fudge swirl ice cream. For dinner we're having meatloaf, mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. Our sons are coming home to celebrate later today.

Tonight is l/o of my favorite frozen pizza from Aldi for me, l/o rigatoni with sausage, ricotta, and sauce for DH. Neither one of us feels like cooking.
Tomorrow will be crockpot pulled pork sandwiches and tots. Pork was on sale last week in Shoprite and will make lots of leftovers.

Today was errand day so we grabbed a late lunch on the way home. We shared the arancini. I had pasta in vodka sauce and DH had tortellini in a rose sauce with sausage.

It's Friday, so we're having pizza -- Screamin' Sicilian.

I've been craving a hot dog for months. (That's not something I'll allow myself to eat more than 2 or 3 times a year.) I decided to wait, until we were eating with DS. He likes them too. With leftover potato salad, baked beans & coleslaw in the fridge & needing to be eaten, I decided today is the day. DH & DS finally put the Blackstone grill together today, so we're having grilled hot dogs, North Carolina style w/ the leftovers. I can't wait.

We're going to Chili's for lunch today with the family. Celebrating DIL's birthday (which is Wed).
Then back to our house for presents and cake.
Dinner may be nothing or just a snack or salad.
