It was mid 70s today in DFW, and it's supposed to be the same tomorrow. Grilled burgers sound amazing, and I'd love to grill. But DW doesn't ant me grilling, so I don't.

Hubby came home today. Our oldest daughter had her baby boy on Weds night. He's adorable.

With hubby here now, I have to make my supper menu a bit more hearty. So I'm BBQ'n some sirloin burgers tonight. He'll have his with a bun and all the fixin's. I make mine into a hamburger salad. I'll cut up some potatoes for steak fries as a side.

last dinner at home for a few days (off to Disneyland). Leftovers are pretty much gone. I think it will be fast food from somewhere.

Congratulations, @evilmommie! I hope mom and baby are doing well, and everyone is rejoicing in this new little person!

Friday night was supposed to be leftovers but we stopped into a local place for a beer on the way home from work and ended up splitting an order of chicken wings. I had 2 pieces of wing and DH had the other 7. That means at 11:30, I was rummaging thru the fridge for something to eat! [Can I just say, it's STUPID how much these cost? I remember when chicken wings and backs were considered "trash" and packaged up as soup bones. Last night we had 9 wings (actually portions, so only really 4.5 whole chicken wings) for $18. That's $4 per whole wing. I can get an entire chicken, roasted, at Sam's for $5!!! OK, rant over... maybe...]

Anyhow, tonight will be the leftovers we were supposed to eat last night; either Supper Pie or something done with Sam's rotisserie chicken (maybe nachos/tacos/burritos or a take on chicken cacciatore).

I think I need a jealous emoji! It is not beautiful in New England! More snow on top of snow and brutal cold coming tomorrow. DH is going to go shovel out my parents yet again tonight so he can avoid the cold temps tomorrow. I'll be home making chili for dinner.

I’m hoping the predicted weather in Florida holds up for next week. It’s supposed to be high 70s low 80s.

I am also over this weather! It’s 8 here but feels like -12 and we got another 4-5 inches of snow last night and this morning. Staying in did force me to do a bunch of stuff around the house and we are watching the Olympics. My cousin, who is like a sister, her son is a nationally ranked snowboarder which lead to me declaring if he goes to the 2030 Olympics we are going earlier today.

Making comfort food tonight. Baked tortellini in a cream sauce with salad.

I don't cook on the weekends, so it will be whatever I throw together.

I have no idea what we’re doing for dinner. We probably would’ve gone out- which is what we usually do on a Saturday, but my mom has the flu so I need to go over there and get my dad dinner. DH is driving me bc we got a few inches of snow today too and it’s really heavy right now.
I really hope the personal care attendant comes tonight for my dad!
