The cool weather is making me want to go to a fair so I checked out the New food at the Big E this year. I don’t go every year but I’m leaning towards going this year.
I'm making chili tonight. We took my granddaughter to her last OB appointment before she goes in tomorrow to be induced. Have no idea what meals will be for the next few days.

*EDIT TO RECIPE* Easier and more cost efficient to use canned tomatoes to make Marcella Hazan’s tomato sauce unless you grow produce yourself and need to use excess. Had to triple tomatoes to get enough for one pound of pasta. Taste not worth it.
Thank you for answering something I'd been wondering about. MH's tomato sauce recipe is great as is, and I didn't know if it could be improved upon. Apparently not -- why mess with perfection? Will keep using the fresh tomatoes (dry farmed!) for pasta with raw sauce. YUM! (And now I'm craving pasta...)

leftover night.....we only have taco meat, but I bought chicken enchiladas and tamales at Sam's yesterday, so one or a bit of each tonight with a green salad
Chuck roast in in the crock pot as I type for Mississippi Pot Roast. We were going to have it on sandwiches, but since we did the Cubans last night, I’m thinking I’ll make either rice or egg noodles with it. We just had mashed potatoes two nights ago so not really feeling those.
