I have friends staying at WDW the end of August prior to embarking on a non-Disney cruise, so Disney transportation is out to take them from WDW to Port Canaveral.
What is the best way for them to get from WDW/Coronado Springs to Port Canaveral?
Thank you.

If their cruise line offers transportation from MCO to the port, they could just take Mears or ride share to the airport. Otherwise look for a limo company like FL Tours, the sponsor of the Transportation section of the DIS Boards.

The question isn't about getting to the airport. It's a question asking for recommendations for getting from Disney World to Port Canaveral.

Yes, but it is not that out of the way to go by way of the Orlando airport. Depending on the number of people, it may be less expensive to go from WDW to the airport and take a cruise shuttle from the airport. Otherwise, the group can book a private car service directly from WDW to the port.

Wow! OK, I will pass this along. There are only two people involved, though, not a big group.

Going back to MCO is not at all out of the way. You have to drive past the airport to get to PC. From MCO you can get on the Go Port bus, it's $29/person. An Uber from WDW to MCO runs approx $60. You can also possibly Uber right to the port but it can sometimes be hard to get a ride that far because they know they will not pick up a fare going back. Private car services will run at least $200 one way. Lastly, you can rent a car and drop it off near the port. The local rental offices have free shuttles over to the port. Currently only Budget and Avis are allowing one way rentals unless you are renting for 5 days or more. Those companies are the closest to the port anyway with Budget being closer with more shuttle vans. If you are doing this be aware that these offices are very small and they get VERY busy in the morning during that period when people are getting off ships and others are trying to get to a ship.
