Thanks for the additional info. What do you use as a filler?Slice them , micro them with a little water to precook them. Then line them around the sides and bottom of a round pan
Sounds good. Thanks again.I mix eggs, milk, bell pepper, red onion, cheddar, cooked bacon bits......but it could be anything you want
I hope you're feeling better today.Tonight will be a beef and green bean stir fry with rice. It's the last meal out of my first Hello Fresh box. I was supposed to make it yesterday, but was not feeling well so ordered in. Ugh.
Enjoy your trip.First night in NOLA was dinner at my sister's home. She made roast leg of lamb with a Sri Lankan rice mix from Trader Joe's, lentils, and big salad. It was delicious. Last night (Thursday) we went to Fogo de Chao for a surf and turf dinner. Lots of meat and fish options on the buffet and two cocktails for $45 per person. It was a great deal and a LOT of fun. TOnight we will be going to Cafe 615/da Wabbit in Gretna. They have wonderful food, including the best fried chicken I've ever had (and will probably order). At some point we'll get to the French Quarter for lunch and probably a pub crawl, but it's not high on the list. We come to NOLA twice a year to visit, so the "touristy" things are lower on our priority list. However.. there will be a pub crawl at some point to try out places we haven't been to yet!
