We finally gave up on the town we're currently staying in & branched out to other cities to find something to eat. DH ordered the bread service & a Caesar Salad. I ordered a Cranberry Walnut Salad minus the candied walnuts. We shared Ginger Charred Baramundi w/ coconut rice & vegetable medley. I mostly ate the vegetables. DH ate the rice.

And it begins! I’m planning to put up pickled “zukes” this summer so wish me luck at the farmers’ market.
I’m so glad I over shopped on prepared food this weekend. It’s too hot to cook in the house right now.

Tonight, I had some green salad mixed with lox, capers, lemon and cherry tomatoes with a cup of sorrel soup on the side. I’m going to look for some avocados in the market tomorrow; they are always good to add to cold dishes this time of year.

It is stupid hot here today too. I didn’t really feel it yesterday bc I went to the beach.
It feels exactly like Florida in the summer.
