It’s been a constantly cloudy and rainy start to the summer so I’ve been spending a bit of time perusing recipes with the idea of fine tuning my weekly menus. Right now berries and cherries are in season so trying to incorporate them into my entrees as well as desserts. Today, going to try making a cold cherry soup with a mixture of sour and Bing cherries bought at the farmers’ market. Could be a nice starter for grilled entrees.
Last night I had a bowl of the ginger, chicky and rice soup. Worthy and a great way to use up leftovers.
