What’s for Dinner Tonight?

On pins and needles on this end in anticipation of your Toledo meal. We’ll be there on the 28th driven by that 40% off deal (+ an additional 8% discounted using gc as payment) so your impressions matter.
Have fun!
First off it will not disappoint!
We started with the Rioja- braised chorizo
DH had the filet- said it was delicious
we shared Brussel sprouts ( so good!!)
I ordered 2 tapas for my meal- charred octopus( my grandmother from Portugal used to make octopus stew when I was little) and the Gambas al Ajillo- brick oven shrimp both very good.
My DH also surprised me with a Mickey cake. 😃
So unfortunately I didn’t pay attention to the days the discount was good for 🤬 Really??!! It should be everyday!! And they’re CLOSED 2 of those days! I have such a love / hate relationship with Disney. 🤣
We will be back!!

Chicken breast with mango chutney glaze, a lime zesty rice side and rainbow slaw, from the meal subscription service. Very good, as always but I've decided to suspend the weekly deliveries for a while. The early summer season is always unpredictably hectic for us and we're better off just winging it from night to night.

We went out for breakfast and I had the red, white, and blue French toast.

I’m headed to a friends around noon for a cook out. She’ll have burgers, dogs, turkey burgers, and chicken. The rest is pot luck. She asked me to bring dessert.

I’m not sure if we will need dinner but if so I’ll be winging it.

Currently on a 10 day roadtrip with our BSA scout troop and Venture Crew. We’re camping along nightly. Last night was sloppy joes. Two nights before it was chilli, and the dinner before that was chicken fajitas. Tonight will probably be pizza. I’m not cooking! Tonight we’re not camping but glamping in tent cabins in Yosemite.

Thanks for the great review @ddluvsdisney !
Sounds like we will enjoy ourselves 😎.

Made some potato salad yesterday and brought it to a local grill in the park with the exception of a jar ful . Came back with a piece of leftover chicken from the party and that will be tonight’s dinner. And even though my home attendant cringed I added frozen green peas to the potato salad today so I don’t have to make a veggie. Told her she should thank me since that’s one less pot to wash, lol.

That's not completely bonkers even though your attendant cringed. My aunt always made a noodle salad with green peas and tuna in it. I sometimes make it with canned chicken breast instead of tuna since I cannot eat fish.

Hmmm... chicken winging it, hahaha?!

I find summer to be the easiest season for making dinner. Throw some protein on the grill (even if I have to nuke it on low for 5 mins. to defrost), open a bag of salad mix, and voila! Dinner!!

I have no idea what supper will be tonight. I have been away since Saturday morning. I left DH some things to make his meals easier, so there might be leftover corn chowder and/or chicken burrito/taco/quesadilla filling to use up- OR he might need a change of pace after eating this all weekend, hahaha!
