I LOVE tuna melts, but never make them because of the high fat content. Definitely a special treat dinner- although we don't put ours under the broiler, we make them like grilled cheese with tuna salad- even higher fat content hahaYUM!My aunt's birthday is today, and I offered to make her whatever she wanted for dinner. She requested tuna melts, which is just a hoagie roll piled with tuna salad and American cheese put under the broiler. I was going to make her a steak or something, but tuna melts it was.

Ah yes...we hosted our first family Thanksgiving in the new place this year and the turkey feast was epic! I made a big turkey and stuffing casserole for Friendsgiving last Saturday and used the last of it up in Tuscan turkey soup for lunch all last week. Not sorry to see the end of it now.
