Thank you for that! I bought a Rao’s frozen pie for tomorrow’s meal to share with a sewing buddy so no carbs in today’s soup, lol.

We were supposed to have turkey burgers (no bun) with Pasta-roni and a veg, but just got invited to a friend's for supper. The 30-somethings and the little guy will have the turkey burgers; I think we are having chicken enchiladas!

I asked the bartender and she said you can get the grapefruit alcohol at Costco and most liquor stores. I had not heard of it. Here is the description if you want to try to make it. It was really good!

Not the best dinner tonight. I had a gift card for Applebees so we ordered that. While dh went to pick it up, I stayed back to wait for the water company guy. Apparently, they haven’t been charging us enough for the past FOUR YEARS! It was a mistake on their end with billing, but in the end, they can backbill even if it’s on them. I insisted someone come out in person so I knew their reading was actually correct this time.
Anyway, when dh got back, my salad was missing the dressing so I had to make some sort of southwest dressing on the fly and dd’s chicken fingers looked more like nuggets.

This happened with our gas bill today!! but only 2 months. Thankfully it was only off by like $30. I can’t believe that it’s ok for that to happen.
That should be their problem not mine.

They are really good. Bought one when we vacationed at WDW during the December holidays, on a whim. Thought I’d have to doctor it within an inch of its life and I was happily wrong. Whole Foods is currently having a sale on them

I just ordered some pamplemousse liqueur from Astor Wine and now know what to do with it. Going to try mixing it with ginger beer, vodka, seltzer and a lemon slice.

That sounds delicious! We are putting a bar in with the remodel, I am going to have to look for pamplemousse liqueur!

I love a mule, the ginger would be a great addition!! .

I’m currently waiting for a to-go order from our favorite Thai/Chinese place. The owners are so sweet and made me a Thai tea for while I’m waiting. Here’s our order:
Egg rolls
Cream cheese wontons
Thai fried rice w beef
Hot & spicy chicken

I guess we’re hungry!!! TGIF!
