Would you PLEASE get rid of those "whack-a-mole" ads that scroll up from the bottom of the screen? They're irritating and create a negative feeling toward the advertiser.

There are on top and bottom, and the ones at the top are killing me!!!
I realize they are doing their job by tricking us into clicking on them, but it is so annoying. lol

Also… Not sure if related or not, but there is this system “freak out” once in a while that hyper scrolls and reloads the current page.

Been using the “Large Font” mode and it’s great on PC, but on my phone this morning has been very chatotic. The board does this crazy breakout like instant scrolling of the whole page and back, then sliding ads under my fingers because I’m trying to click or scroll back to what I was looking at.
And when I click on a notification, instead of going to the post it goes to the bottom of the page?

Also it randomly will show as center justified, not sure if related or not just something I noticed.

agreed..plus when you try typing a messagecon the phone they cause they keyboard to disappear. sometimes they do this multiple times while trying to type a message. luckily i use an ad blocker on the PC so i will have to do the same on my phone i guess.

Yes I keep getting some kind of fake security alert spam on my phone the last couple of days. Started using duck duck go as my browser because disboards runs better on there and haven’t had an issue until yesterday and these fake security alerts pop up.

Hmm, so it was working better with Duck Duck Go? (but now not so much?)

Well I have zero ads on duck duck go except this was popping up. Have not been on today except for a couple of minutes so idk if it is still there but I have no ads at all when looking at the boards on duck duck go

It’s just the same with most things these days, if we don’t raise enough stink it must not be a big enough problem. Much like people complaining about Disney prices, but we all still go. lol

Basically similar just happened to me… again. I had 3 other posts quoted and was replying to all three, then the site does it freak out and does a page refresh only to delete all 3 posts and all my replies, to start over if I really feel like going back thru and selecting the posts to quote again, then retyping the replies.
I Just can’t do that **** anymore, either.

This site has become unbearable on mobile, so I guess we’ll see ya when I get back to work and on a PC. lol

There shouldn't be a bottom ad on mobile. It's at the top.

yeah makes sense...i guess my keyboard disappearing constantly made me think they were at bottom

I’m working on it, everyone. I understand your frustration, and I have Google actively looking into it. Unfortunately, this site relies on ads to stay operational, so I can’t disable them. Without ads, it wouldn’t survive on a free model. I’m exploring alternative options to offer an ad-free experience, and those using ad blockers will also have access to this opportunity because I will also enable ad blocker detection, but only if I can provide a solution. I’ll work out the details and post a poll to get community input.
