Has anyone stayed or heard of Dave Robinson Properties in Windsor Hills? They own about 8 or so Condos.

Yes, they are very popular but they only rent from Sat - Sat. Dave Robinson doesn't own all of them but he manages his and some other owners. The condos are very nice and the site is very legit.

They are posting on their website now that they have a six day opening for $156 for two bedroom, too bad I can't use the dates!! We are getting soooo excited coming in November, I hope to book something this week...

I just did a review on the 204 unit. Just search up for it.. it might be on the 2nd page of this board.

In short, it was excellent. We just got back today and we miss the condo already.

Hi Cindy, glad you made it back OK! I searched above in reviews but could not find it. I saw another Robinson Properties post but turned out it wasn't yours. Love to read your review about your experiences at Windsor Hills.

We are booked in one of his properties for Nov 29 for a week and for Nov 28, 2009 for a week. We have never been to WH, but we couldn't pass up the great price.

On their website, they say they only book from Saturday to Saturday. However, on the availability calendars, I see some booked dates that don't comply with that guideline. Can anyone explain that?

We are going from Friday, Jan 16 to Sunday, Jan 25, so I'd need a 9 night rental. Am I out of luck with this particular property manager?

Yes they are very strict with the Sat - Sat bookings. I checked the calendars and didn't see any that didn't comply with those guidelines.

Will answer your other post here: WH has very few 2 bedroom condos, it's mostly 3 bedroom. $850. for 9 nites with tax included isn't too bad a price considering that's less than $85/nt before tax.

I asked the owner Dave about this. He told me that the only time they do NOT go Sat to Sat is like if they are having the unit heavy cleaned, or painted etc (they are "clean" freaks and very concerned about customer service it seems), so if they take it off the market for a day or two they will then offer the remaining dates that week at a reduced price, although I checked like Sympatico did, and I too didn't see any off-week dates.

You can also join their "Windsor Hills Club", where they will send you updates on special price weeks, cancellations, and so forth, and stay in touch with info about Windsor Hills as a whole. they email you if they have a special.

The prices there are so low (some weeks $199, $299, $399) for a 3 Bedroom 2 Bath condo or a Townhouse with a pool, that I wondered if it was for real, and CindyB stayed there and answered that question for me. If I wanted to go for 10 nights, at these prices it would be cheaper to rent 2 weeks from them sat to sat and only stay the 10 days I wanted. We are coming in November, I have not chosen where yet but I am leaning toward them. Can anybody tell me about the pool then, will it be warm enough still at Windsor Hills to swim? Thanks to everyone for all the help here, this board is great.

You won't find much available in November, thats when we are trying to go & it looks like most of the condo's are booked ...

That's what he says... they sell out early because of their low prices, leaving only the higher priced condos and companies still available.... so I guess I need to book '09 Spring from them RIGHT NOW if we are coming then again (which we have talked about)!!

Actually I have found it's not all that it's cracked up to be. One thing is by Staying Sat to Sat Our airfare was so much higher it ended up costing me more then if I traveled tues to tues. Another was , after adding the clean fee, it was a higher rate during June July that we were able to find elsewhere. Sugest you look around.

I just got an email and they have lowered their prices again, now down to $455 a week in February, $399 a week in January for 2 bedroom... and in other places they are lowering '09 prices too. Saturday to Saturday works well with us, airfare was actually cheaper that way for us. Depends on where you are flying from maybe. He also told me they are buying more condos and townhouses too, so the more they get the lower they can make their price in Spring. I'm always looking for lowest prices and nobody has beated $199, $299, $399 specials they have. We got a great deal for December from them and had looked at about every place at Windsor Hills and Windsor Palms!

Anyhow, we're staying at Windsor Hills beginning Dec 13...we actually paid UNDER $300 for the week! I can't believe the deals!

Any recomendations on dining close to WH off-property?
