After all the excitement last night we decided to change plans of a theme park day and just let everyone wake up leisurely.
We were all struggling to process what had actually happened the night before and the very first thing I did this morning was turn on the laptop to see if there was actually photos of us meeting Jeff Hary or if it had just been a dream.
The photos were there and our friends back in the uk had commented on facebook and also sent us texts all saying the same thing - WOW !!
Cameron woke up at about midday and insantly started doing the Jeff Hardy entrance down the stairs. He was beaming and his facepaint was still intact. As he checked out his reflection in the mirror it was clear he was on the ultimate high!!
So by 2pm we had all stopped dancing around for long enough to say lets go Universal studios for a bit befoe we head back to the wrestling at 5pm.
Aleta had the night before told Cameron he was welcome to come and watch as many shows as he liked and he would always be a V.I.P, however in the interest of actually doing other things this holiday we had told him he could pick just one more night!! Aleta told him that the main event tonight was Jeff Hardy so he jumped at a return visit to watch his hero.
We did the obligatory pictures on entering universal and we were stopped so many times by people commenting on camerons facepaint - each time he beamed and told them Jeff Hardy done it!
As you can see the kids were very over excited to be returning again to TNA.
We all decided that actually we were very hungry and with just 90 minutes until show time we decided to eat !!
Wayne has always wanted to go into Hard rock cafe so thats where we headed!!
The meal in here was fine but nothing amazing and I felt very overpriced. My main reason for never returning here would be the appaling meal they offered Keira.
I always ask before we are seated if they can accomadate her Coeliac disease and Hard rock staff assured me they could so imagine my thoughts when they present her with a single hotdog sausage (no bun) on a lettuce leaf with a few orange slices in a pot next to it !! That is not providing a meal for a coeliac and in another time and place I may have argued with them but today everyone was so happy why argue and change it ??
So we pay the bill and run over to Tna where we get shown to a waiting area and we waited and waited until eventually the doors open and the madness began again.
Aleta greeted us again with more pressies for the kids - Cameron had a Tna programme where every page had been signed by the Tna Superstar on that page and the others got a signed pic of their favourite wrestler.
Jeff Hardy had wrote on Keiras - To Keira Take Care forever love Jeff x
Dan was over the moon as RVD had signed it saying Dan was and always be number one fan !!
Ben nodded in approval and then went back into moody teenager mode!!
Keira bless her fell asleep almost as soon as we were seated I think one late night was enough for my princess. She awoke just in time for Jeff Hardys match and was once again shouting and chanting and waving her signed pic high in the air!!
After Jeffs match I managed to get everyone to agree that it was time to leave. Im so glad we let Cam watch one more match as during that match a security guard came over and tapped me on the shoulder to say Follow him - Jeff Hardy wanted to see us !!
Now I can tell you I dont know what went through my head at that moment I just quickly gathered all our stuff together and followed him back stage where Jeff was standing and taking off his armbands he then passed them to Cameron and thanked him for supporting him again tonight.Cameron was in shock and just stood Jaw open staring at the armbands in his hands.
Keira asked Jeff if he had heard her shouting and he crouched down and said "Yes I did!" he then addressed Wayne and told him he wished he had met us when he was a good guy as he could have done more for the kids.
I jumped in and told him He had aleady done so much for Cameron and explained that even before we met him he was the person that had pulled Cameron through his treatment. Whenever Cameron would refuse treatment we would ask him What would Jeff do ?? Then Cameron would agree to carry on !! Jeff ardy says he puts his body on the line and Cam always tells the hospital Ill pt my body on the line just like Jeff Hardy.
Jeff was taken aback by the answer and he leant over and gave me the biggest sweaty hug Ive ever had
and whispered in my ear Thank you for letting me meet Cameron!! Tears filled my eyes and I just said no really Thank you for taking the time to provide us with the most precious of memories no matter what happens now we will never forget this!!!
High fives were exchanged and we wandered out into the cold night air in complete shock !!
Jeff Hardy had actually asked to see us !!
So back at the villa we all crash again but this time Jeffs sweaty armbands were draped over a chair so they could dry enough for Cam to wear !!!
