We've gotta go back!-Sept 2015 PTR

Hi Everyone! This is my first pre-trip report and my family's second trip to WDW! We went last September and had an amazing trip. So amazing, that we knew we had to go back this year! I've just started a trip report for our last trip, a little late, but wanted to go ahead and start a PTR since we're already in the planning stages for our next trip!

Here's our family last September in front of Magic Kingdom.

My brother Kel is on the far left, then my sister, Morgan, I'm in the middle, my mom is on my next and my dad is on the end.

Can you believe this was one of the two pictures we got as a whole family? Total fail.

This year, we are also bringing along my 87-year-old Grandpa! He lives with my parents and has never been to Disney World! He loved hearing our stories from our trip and we thought he would love to come! He'll only go to the park for a day or two, but I can't wait to have him with us!

We're heading down Labor Day and will be there for a week. We'll be staying offsite again and will only be visiting Disney this time.

This past week has been full of of MNSSHP drama.

The September came out a few weeks ago and my sister and I were disappointed to see that there wasn't a Halloween Party during our trip. We thought that would probably happen with NOJ, but we were hoping for it. After seeing that the calendar looked like, it seemed like there would be a party on Labor Day. My sister and I came up with an idea of going down (with my brother) earlier than my parents and grandpa. We would attend the HP on Labor Day and they would meet us in Orlando the next day. We got really excited about this idea. I started pricing the Disney hotels, we made plans, even started picking out costumes.

Then this week, a bomb was dropped that MNSSHP wouldn't start until the 15th. My heart immediately sank. Yes, it's the day we're supposed to leave, but we have to use extra vacation days to attend. We all have already taken Labor Day off to travel, so going down on Sunday wasn't any extra time off. My brother and sister don't have paid vacation, so every day they miss is a big deal.

The Disney website and app are still showing different things and the hours haven't been updated to reflect a later close on Labor Day. We're trying to wait for them to update the hours for the Magic Kingdom before we decide what to do.

Fingers are crossed that they add a party on Labor Day!
