Magic Kingdom
Dream Along with Mickey

I am really loving The DIS all decorated for Christmas!

Well, DH left at 4:00am this morning to go to Texas for a whole week! He's there for work this week and then will be staying over the weekend to visit his parents (the In-Laws,) who live in Tyler, TX.

This just means that I will be spending much more needed time with my DIS'ers!

We haven't heard anything about the house yet, which is good and bad. It's good because that means we haven't been rejected yet, but the waiting is killing us! I know it's driving DH nuts! I hope we'll know something soon! Until then, we are keeping our hopes up!

Bad news about "The Doom Bugy!" Insurance is not covering it because our deductible is $500 and it will not cost $500 to replace the windshield! We also caled AAA and they could be of no help either. So, we are just calling around now trying to find the best deal. Poor Beetle!


Let's get back to the Magic Kingdom...

We continued our way down Main Street and saw that "Dream Along with Mickey" was beginning in front of the Castle! What perfect timing!

I must say that this is my FAVORITE show that I have ever seen! It was too cute!

The best part of the show, by far, was Donald & Goofy! They were too funny and there's an entire scene where they dress up like pirates and fight Captain Hook! It was fantastic! I loved every minute of it!

The entire show was about good vs. evil, of course, and how you can accomplish anything if you follow your dreams!

My fav Disney Villain!

The finale ended with fireworks and a great dance number! This is a must see if you'll be at WDW during the "Year of a Million Dreams!" It was a great show and DH even loved it, so you know it must be really good!

I hope you enjoyed this installment! I think I may come back a little later this evening and post another one! We'll see!

The only problem with moving closer to WDW, is I would have a hard time convincing my husband to stay on property. When I am at WDW I want to stay on property and receive the magic 24/7.

The Big Announcement!


WE GOT THE HOUSE!



It's Banana Dance time!




DH just called a little over a hour ago and told me we got the house!

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!




The first words out of his mouth were...

"Are you doing the Banana Dance?"

And I was!!!! I really was!!!!






First off...

I have to give a HUGE thank you to all of my fellow DIS'ers for all the luck and pixie dust!

I'm getting kinda teary-eyed right now.

Thank you all so very much!!!!



Okay...now let's get to the good part!

I didn't want to give out too much information or details about the house because I didn't want to get myself too excited and then not get the house. We still obviously have to do all the paperwork, but our offer was accepted!



Our new home is 13 minutes away from Walt Disney World!


Can you believe it!? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!




I am so happy right now and I am in shock!


I just got off the phone with my parents and they are ecstatic! My Mom is already planning her trip down to Florida with me in January! I told her we'd have to take time out of the busy moving schedule for an Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian!


I don't think I'm going to be sleeping tonight!



All I have to say is...

One time DH and I were walking from The Broadwalk to Epcot the back way...and it was one quiet afternoon last Feb, I was on the phone with one DS in college, telling him what a fab time, Dad and I were having while he was busying studying ( ) and all of a sudden there in front of me with a CM is DALE....no one else at all!!! And I am on the phone with DS screaming "one of the Chipmunks is here...ahhh" and DS says "which one" and of course I had no idea...so DS says "WHAT COLOR IS HIS NOSE"...mind you this is my 19yo DS...I can only imagine anyone listening to him on his cell with him saying, "mom, what color is his nose?"....... But he was as excited as I was and he was in college and I was in the PARKS!!! SUCH FUN!!!

LOVING THE TRIPPIE, LINDSEY....ahh, and Mom must be thrilled with all the TEA she can now share with you at the GF!!!!

You're going to be the star of my next installment! I know you're excited about that!

I actually just got a brand new camera before the trip, which is a great little camera. It's a Kodak Pocket Camera V603. I love it, but battry life caused me problems that I'll bring up in a few in the TR. I also dropped it during MVMCP, so I scratched up my brand new camera!

You were so right! No news is good news! The owner made us wait ALL day for an answer, but it was worth it!

Stay warm up there! Make yourself some hot chocolate and cookies!

AHHH! THAT'S SO EXCITING

I kept logging on last night to see if there was any word on the house. As soon as I read the post this morning I grinned from ear to ear I'm so happy for you. You can tell how much you've always wanted this and I'm so glad you're dreams are coming true. How fantastic. That's just SO amazing.

I can't wait to hear all the details. How long will it be before the big move???
