Dh and I have finally booked our universal trip :bounce: we've been really indecisive about it for a while and looking into Vegas, new York and dc among others (we're from the UK and have a long list of places in the US we want to see). We've finally decided and booked 5 nights at cabana bay at the end of September. I've visited Orlando 3 times and stayed at the all star resorts so it's going to be a bit strange coming all the way to Orlando and not visiting Disney but we're really looking forward to it as a new experience!

Universal has always been a day trip for us so having a long stay here will be a new planning challenge! I can't wait!!! :goodvibes:banana::jumping1:

Congratulations!!

We never visit Disney, haven't since 09.........still have the best time ever!

You don't have the same planning issues you have with Disney, it`s much easier to go with the flow there........I`m sure you`ll love CB......most folks that stay there do :thumbsup2

I'm so excited! We'll be visiting Wet n Wild for the first (and unfortunately last due to the closure) time so I'm really looking forward to that!

If you have questions, we can help

You will be there when Hhn is open
Studios will close at 5 those days and ioa will be open a couple hours later

You might want 1 Evening to do the Halloween Event at Disney ... If you need a Disney Fix . Lol . That's what we plan to do on our 4 day trip since Universal S. will close at 5:00 & grandson's 9 & 11 too young for That Halloween Event. .

This did cross my mind.. The only problem is we don't have a car and I know a taxi or shuttle won't be cheap, although if anyone has any suggestions of cheaper ways to get to Disney then that'd be great!!
We're also deciding if we're brave enough to do the Halloween Horror Nights at universal :rotfl2::eek:

We are doing the Taxie or Uber ... You can go in as early as. 4:00 till Midnight . I bought my tickets through . Undercover Tourist .. How old are your children? It's a fun evening at Disney the Dates are in the Events section .

It's just me and my husband so no kids. We did mnsshp a few years back and loved it! I'll see if I can persuade dh :rotfl:

The last time I went to mk the new fantasyland hadn't opened yet so it'd be awesome to see it!

how can you be so close to the other park and not go over there for a day.........

i couldn't.
Haha I know!! If we had a hire car there would be no question about it but we're on a tighter budget than normal as it's only a short trip (and our exchange rate really isn't helping!!) so depends if we think we can spare $50 or so for taxis or an Uber... I've got everything crossed!!
