We've finally agreed to a trip date...

I just wanted to write to you all to tell you how excited I am.
Originally my family was supposed to do a Grand Gatherings in 2008 which was a little disappointing as I/we didn't want to wait that long

Anyway my Dad called me last night. Rather than 08, we're now going in spring of 2007. Now that is still a long ways away even for me, but my wife, I and the kids are going to the Acores next year so hopefully it will pass fast.

I just wanted to share the excitement with people who understand!

It's less than two years away. Good for you and your family. We just returned a few weeks ago from what will probably be our last trip there as a whole family as my two oldest are now nearing the end of high school. College and its expenses are just around the corner. We had a great time but because of their ages we didn't spend much time at WDW with our kids- they were off on their own most of the time. Enjoy these trips while their available.

I hope you're planning to add the Pirate/Fireworks cruise to your Grand Gathering schedule. It was one of the highlights of my trip last October.
