My Wife and I are flying out of Gatwick on June 19th for a two week stay.
It was always our dream to have our honeymoon (June 1999) in Orlando staying at a Disney hotel, however at the time of our wedding finances didn't permit and we opted for a stay off-site.
We have been back since (in 2000) and stayed at the Rodeway Inn mainly because it tied up with the Comfort Inn in NYC where we were having 4 days after Orlando.
This year we have upped the stakes a little and will be staying at the Rosen Centre on I-Drive. We can't wait.
Perhaps that Disney hotel will be on our next trip, we can but hope !!!
Hey!!!!!!! We are flying out of Gatwick on 19th June as well! Are you flying BA?? If so, might see you on the plane.....I will have lime green ribbons on my rucksack!!
We have a Villa again this year, as we are travelling with our 2 children (3 and 9 months), and I need all the comforts of home (ie. Dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer etc!!!!!). Oh, those days when we could slob out by the pool and not need to bulk buy nappies at the Wal-mart but wine and beer!!
One day soon, I hope we will be flying out to our OWN villa!!
Unfortunately (or fortunately) depending on your loyalty we will be on the Virgin flight leaving Gatwick at 11.15.
We will be using twilight check in to try and get the exit seats as both my Wife and I are well over 6ft tall.
There is still a chance of us upgrading to Premium Economy but we will have to check on the bank balance nearer the time, and of course availability.
June is a great time to go IMHO. We had our honeymoon over there in 1999 and yes the weather can be indifferent but I found it quieter than what it was in September.
We (me, DH and DS (9)) fly out on 11 June for 18 nights, staying at Courtyard by Marriott in WDW. This will be our tenth visit to WDW and I still can barely contain my excitement!!!
Leaving on 29 June for 17 nights and flying with virgin for the first time from Manchester.
Have already done I-Drive and ASMo so this time we're trying Kissimmee and throwing in 3 nights at HRH at the end. FOTL access - can't wait !!
Can't believe this will be our 3rd visit. Remember going first time in Oct 2000 for our 'once in a lifetime visit' !!! Already trying to persuade DW that Xmas 2004 at WDW would be great.
OOOh, Garry, you sound like a perfect hubby! WDW at Xmas 2004.....well I can make it if your wife cant!! DH has announced we should "try somewhere new next year" or worse still "do some home improvements instead of a holiday" eeeeeeek.
We had our "trip of a lifetime" back in 1995......this year will be number 7 ......Im not bored yet!
We were doing Xmas 2003 this year, but couldnt wait that long so we leave on June 19th for 15 nights.
we are making our 4th trip to Florida 28th June and we can't wait!!! We love everything about our "Disney" holidays, even our 17 year old son wants to go back! we are lucky enough to be staying for three whole weeks - Yippee
