We already have reservations through DU for the 7/3/04 Western, we had planned to drive (from KY), but now we're considering flying.

Since we are not going to WDW, is there still a way to use any type of Disney Cruise transportation from the airport, or from Orlando? We plan to arrive the Friday evening prior to the Saturday embarkation.

You can purchase transfers to/from the Orlando airport from DCL. I think they are around $50 per person, roundtrip, so if there are more than 3 people going, it's probably worth checking into prices for a private limo.

We always fly in the night before and get a hotel via Priceline (typically $25 to $28 for the MCO Marriott...you don't get to specify your hotel, but we always choose the highest star level and that's where we usually end up). We have Happy Limo pick us up in the morning, but you could also take the hotel shuttle back to the airport to pick up the DCL bus. Personally I prefer the towncar because you can specify your pickup time and you have a private vehicle. You're wise to come in the night before...you'll get a good night's sleep and be all ready for your cruise.
