We've Bounced Back like Tigger SB09 TR NEW 9/11 CLOSING TIME....

“What is mouseCRAPPER?”

I have to say it...

The very first time I read your username, I read it fast and thought the same thing! :lmao: Of course, when I read it again a second time, I figured it out!

Nice picture of your mom with the Streetmosphere Ladies! I wonder if she ever got those ears......(?)

Continuation of Day2) First Character I see today…

As you recall while Mom, Michael and I were in line for GS, DH, my Dad, and the girls went in the park. DH reported there were a bunch of characters out so they’d get some autographs. Cool!

At first they were going to try and see Snow White but her line had closed, so up next was:

100_1999.jpg

And YAY I didn’t miss anything. They were like 2 guests from her when I got into the park w/ Michael. It was great, we haven’t “seen” her yet and I was excited. The older kids each took their turn getting autographs and pictures

100_2000.jpg

100_2001.jpg

when it was Margaret’s turn, to our pleasant surprise she went right up to her!

She was at first interested in her umbrella head and then we tried to get a picture of them together

100_2002.jpg

100_2004.jpg

She didn’t want to look up at us, it was like she wasn’t too shy to go say HI but to shy to look up….then the CM handler showed her a sticker to get her attention and she looked at us. :)

100_2005.jpg

He then gave her the sticker and we decided since my Mom still hadn’t returned we’d go see another character. And decided to visit Daisy Duck, another Disney friend we’ve never met.

We headed into line, when Michael decided he didn’t want to wait so went off to sit w/ Ja-Ja and then DH went to see if he could find my Mom over by City Hall. So here I am in a slightly long line w/ just the girls. Margaret was getting a bit antsy and there wasn’t much I could do but wait. The line moved semi fast which was good and we got to Daisy. I did not think Margaret would go up to her especially with the spaghetti leg act she was pulling w/ me in line. But after the girls went up and got autographs

100_2006.jpg

To my surprise again, Margaret marches right up to her and gives her the sticker she had just got. It was so cute!

100_2008.jpg

Well by the time we were done, Mom was back, we had the whole thing straightened out…so if you are reading this, and plan to be there for your b-day…make sure you have ALL of your parties’ KTTW or tickets cause each person get’s there own FP card…..

Now let’s get over to WTP and those Birthday Benefits….

On our way up MS I snapped these shots:

100_2011.jpg

100_2014.jpg

100_2012.jpg

I’m not sure if we just weren’t educated enough on the b-day FP scoop, but I was still confused of the procedure…I thought you just show some pass and in you go, but you have to stop at the FP machines and get an actual FP return time slip….I was like what? :confused3:Well this isn’t a big help? But then we realized OH>>>DUH! It’s an IMMEDIATE return time…very cool!:cool1:

I slid all our FP cards into the machine and get our 7-b-day entrance tickets and on WTP we go:

Here are a couple pictures from the ride….

100_2018.jpg

100_2020.jpg

We haven’t been on this ride since 05 so it was fun, we tried to catch the deed exchange picture btwn Toad and Owl…but missed it, DH hoped we go again. Margaret and everyone enjoyed the ride…it was fun. And to Disney’s style you exit off the ride right into a gift shop….and our little Miss Shopper went right to work grabbing a set of Disney character squeezie toys and a big Tigger Plush. Grandma caved in and bought her the squeezie toys.

100_2940.jpg

We sent them back to our room, but kept one of the “babies” w/ us…Alice, now let’s hope Alice doesn’t try and wander off….

As we were checking out, Aldine pointed out the CM’s name was the same as “Mae’s” and we started chatting and the CM saw my Mom’s b-day pin so she sang “Happy Birthday” to my Mom and then said would you like to hear it backwards? Can you handle it?

Hahahahaha she sang it backwards all-right by turning around…oh yes we fell for it and then she did the short version and Michael chimed in by pulling up on the counter and did the long version. We all had a good laugh. :rotfl:

Up next was PPF

100_2021.jpg

100_2022.jpg

Which was great as usual! And then a quick restroom break and on to Liberty Square and the Haunted Mansion.

100_2025.jpg

100_2026.jpg

The stand-by line wasn’t that long, but Michael had a hard time waiting…we were able to use the Servant’s Quarters entrance. Unfortunately both Michael and Mae got a bit spooked on the ride in comparison to last year. Not bad, but enough…more for Mae though. “I don’t like that ride” But they both liked the hitchhiker ghosts at the end. The other one who liked that part was Margaret she giggled and pointed at that part. DH told me his sister recalled when DH was little probably btwn 2 and 6 he also giggled at that part.

It was just about 11:15 am when we got off the ride and headed straight over to LLT for my Mom’s b-day lunch.

Up NEXT: Here ye, Here ye we’ve come to celebrate a patriot’s birthday!

thanks for reading!

I know Aldine is to my chin....she's going to be just as tall if not taller than me in a few years!

Yes the b-day FP's were excellent I have a special story to share abou them later.

I'm signing on to your report!

Gonna take a while to catch up...

What a beautiful family you have!

:welcome: Julie, glad you're here and thanks!

Your daughters are so cute in their matching t-shirts.

:welcome: and thanks....While they are young I love to have them match and coordinate and what better place than Disney. I had bought Mae and Margaret theri matching Minnie shirts last November for their MMCH b-day party and when I went online to see what new shirts I could score for the trip this year, I was so excited they still had the Minnie shirt and in Aldine's size.

I have to admit....even before the March trip was a vision in my eye and I was only looking forward to 11-010 I bought matching purple Tink shirts on sale for myself and all the girls....can't wait to take them out of storage and wear them next year!

Hi Julie! I'm all caught up! Your trip sounds great so far and I'm looking forward to reading more.

SO cute that Margaret seems to like the characters so far. That should make for some great pictures! :thumbsup2

I have a shopper as well...my middle son, Isaiah LOVES the gift shops!!!

Great trip report! I noticed you call your kids grandfather Ja-Ja. Are you all Polish? We have a dzia dzia:). Looking foward to more!

Hi Missy! just said  over on your TR...glad to see you back and I know that Disney funk feeling...I just spend my time pre-pre planning for the next one over a year away :rolleyes1

Hi and :welcome: Yes my Dad is part Polish as am I, the kids are probably less than a quarter...we are mostly Irish btwn my DH parents and my mom. It started when I was pregnant w/ the twins and wanting to call my parents something other than Grandma and Grandpa (since Dh's parents were already from his sis) so then it began as a joke and it stuck...we never bother to try and figure out how to spell it and just came up w/ Ja-Ja...my Mom does not go by Busha...but my DSIS her MIL is Busha to her son.

You are the first person I've met that has their children call a Grandpa dzia dzia very FUN!

Some new updates are coming soon.....working on typing up the rest of Day 2)!

My Dad is from Poland. Growing up, we called his dad DziaDzia (even to this day my friends call him Dzia Dzia). But, for the longest time, in letters to him, I would right Jaz Jaz. My grandmother is Baba. I got to go to Poland in 1997 for Baba's funeral (she lived here, but her resting place was with her family in Poland). It was such an amazing place and to meet all the relatives was so special. I have been enjoying your trip reports!

Thanks! I love Tink so much I even have a tattoo of her!

:thumbsup2

that is so special...what a wonderful memory and time to share in your grandmother's memory.

Continuation of Day 2) LTT and uh oh….

100_2027.jpg

We left our stroller in the HM stroller parking since it was just steps to LTT and went over there and checked in for my Mom’s birthday lunch. There were just a few other people checking in w/ us a little after 11:15 am and I knew they’d start seating after 11:30…so the place was empty…but it took a lot longer than I had imagined to be seated. I noted 20 minutes from the time we checked in till we actually got our table…I was getting antsy not to mention everyone else who was hungry and especially Michael….it was becoming unbearable for him stimming and pacing and clearly frustrated w/ why aren’t we being called…but finally we were called and walked up to our nice round table in the corner. My luck of great tables from 08 was continuing!

Before we sat down I tried to snap a few pic’s from inside…but most didn’t come out due to the low lighting I guess?

100_2029.jpg

100_2031.jpg

100_2033.jpg

And on our table was

100_2035.jpg

Mickey Dust! (maybe that’s why our table took awhile?)

We ordered our drinks and then our food…the head chef came out and discussed Margaret’s food issues and we decided on some dairy free pasta w/ an oil dressing. While waiting for the food to arrive, several of us took turns using the restrooms upstairs, which were quite tiny BTW.

And that is when our first UH OH moment of the trip occurred….

I’m at the table taking pictures

Menu

100_2036.jpg

LTT mugs (which I bought 2)

100_2038.jpg

And look my Dad’s shirt is the same design as the mug!

100_2037.jpg

when here comes Michael looked quite flustered and a combination of mad and upset….

“Stupid bathroom!” he yells:headache:

UhOH!

“What’s wrong, what happened” I was first worried something happened w/ another guest….

It turns out some other boy who used the facility before him left the seat…well wet. And poor Michael sat right down on it and his underwear was soaking….

We couldn’t leave him like this and had to do something. DH decides he’ll take Michael to find some boy underwear in a gift shop…what else could we do?

In the meantime our food arrives:

I ordered William Ten Pasta w/out the mushrooms which I recall was very good and I was impressed and ate just about all of it. Anything w/ bacon on it in my opinion is GREAT!

100_2040.jpg

Mom got crab cakes (an appetizer) and veggie beef soup…which she raved about as well.

100_2043.jpg

Dad got the turkey dinner which he cleared his plate.

100_2042.jpg

Matt ordered the Angus Burger fully loaded

100_2041.jpg

And the girls got pizza w/ salad and apples, mac & cheese and soup plus ice cream, and Michael ordered the fish of the day Cod w/ rice off the adult menu

100_2039.jpg

100_2045.jpg

Now DH and Michael were not back yet and I was worried…I checked my phone he hadn’t called and just as I was going to call him they came in…Whew! Our food had only been there a few minutes. He ended up walking all the way back to a shop on Main Street and bought some single pair of MM boxers for like $13.00 .

Anyways this crisis was solved. We all ate very happily and felt quite content and full. YUM! I know people think LTT is overpriced or glorified Stouffers…and why go there w/out characters….but we liked it very much. I’d eat there again. DH liked it more than Tony’s. Plus I love the mugs! They sit in my kitchen hutch w/ a few other fun Disney kitchen items!

So I noted we were done eating by 12:30 pm so it did not take all that long…but then we had to wait for the Celebration Cake I had ordered….and it took quite some time, which I didn’t really understand…and because it took awhile it kinda blew the surprise for my Mom. But then out it came and it was a nice little cake.

“He’re He’re It’s a Patriot’s Birthday!”

100_2052.jpg

We ate our cake and our very nice Server Sameria brought out some dairy free ice cream for Margaret which she loved:

100_2053.jpg

All in all this meal took about 2 hrs…but we had good food, nice table and atmosphere and loved our server!:goodvibes

Up NEXT: More MK magical fun. What do we ride and who do we meet?

thanks for reading,

J-:cutie:

I'm glad everyone enjoyed their food....even with the detour for undies.

Uh-Oh is so right!! :rotfl2: Aww, poor Michael. Stupid bathroom.

But, the meal went so perfectly, otherwise! And the cake looks scruptious.

I see Michael took off his lanyard in order to eat more comfortably... I have to do the same thing... the pins make it so heavy!

Yes it worked out OK relatively speaking...

Uh-Oh is so right!! :rotfl2: Aww, poor Michael. Stupid bathroom.

He still talks about it

He had a pretty good lanyard tan line on his neck too....one time when it was off a CM had a good snicker about his classy WDW tan line ;)

Oh and Mae wanted me to report...that for dessert at LTT she had the ice cream that came w/ her meal, plus a piece of cake and Grandma gave her a piece of the Mickey icing circle that was on the cake :rotfl:
