The ones that get looked at funny because we're planning on going back to Disney only two years after our last trip. In-laws don't quite "get" it. Don't see how they'll possibly get as much out of it as their last trip (which was their first trip ever and there was lots we didnt do). To them "there's many other places theyd enjoy just as much". ;)

I just smile and remind them that Disney is where the kids want to go, so Disney is where we're going to go.

I can't wait, nor can they, lol. At least a couple times a week the topic cones up and they talk about what rides they want to do.

Welcome to 'that family' club.
We are proud members!!!
:welcome:

Yay! Let your Disney Freak flag fly! I used to get the "again?!" remarks from my brother and parents, but now that I have brought them along on the last two trips, they are anxiously awaiting our 2017 trip LOL. People are especially baffled that I have two trips scheduled. This upcoming September one is for me and my DD8, and next year is for me, DD8, parents, brother and his family. We are all very excited and I am happy to have them be a part of this cult lol

<3 I'm planning two trips next year: April 2017 (when I'm also doing Star Wars Celebration) AND May 2017 (when we're also doing Universal for my son's 10th birthday and elementary school graduation). When folks say, "really?" I say, "and we're going to have a BLAST! So excited for your family!

I'm making us into that family too. I love it and the kids love it and DH tolerates it (he would rather spend money on cars than trips anywhere, but he enjoys our trips while we're there). We went in September and that was our first Disney trip in nearly two years, but then I had a work conference in Orlando and couldn't resist F&WF. Then I had to see the Aladdin show at DL since I had missed it twice on our previous trip so that made 3 trips 4-5 months.
DH said something to his friend this week about our Universal/WDW trip this October and got the "you know there's other places to visit" speech. We have another friend who in the past has said things like "you've already been there". Most don't understand but that's what makes this board great :-) it may be an illusion but I feel a little less crazy here ;-)

Wait till you start going yearly.

Unfortunately I don't think we'll achieve that for several years. DH has made me promise that our next big trip after our Disney trip next year, is a trip across Canada. Which I agreed to - and then promptly informed him that we'll be returning to Disney in 2019 or 2020 for the opening of Star Wars Land :dogdance: I'm also hoping to make that trip a Christmas trip... hehe. I won't rest until I've experience Disney at Christmas.

Canada would be amazing!! I went to Montreal last summer and loved every second of it. I would love to see more of Canada!
