wetsuits and slides

We are going to be staying at the Beach Club over President's Day weekend and I am really hoping DD6 and DD8 can try out Stormalong Bay. The problem is that DD6 doesn't tolerate cold (or even lukewarm) water very well. Has anybody tried out wetsuit style suits for their kids? Do they drag on the slides?

Wetsuits generally make the slide quicker! The more that your body is covered with smooth material, the quicker you will go on a slide.
