I recently saw Wet & Wild on the Travel Channel and now am thinking of going there instead of (gasp) one of the Disney water parks. I can't seem to get any working website for them, and I swear that months ago I read they closed?

Anyway have a web address or information?

I can't help you just wanted to chime in and say I saw that travel channel special too, waterparks in america? Wow some really cool ones out there and I think my kids would love that bouncy ball type thing you climb up at wet & wild and slide down. Have fun!!

Does anyone know if there are extra charges to do the "skiing" stuff? I didn't see anything mentioned on the website.

Would you mind if I asked how many are in your family and if you're planning on going this summer? (I have a reason for asking such a strange question. ;) )

I'm pretty sure that the last time we went, there was (but it's been quite awhile, so I may be remembering wrong).

The Wet n Wild in Las Vegas closed, the one in Orlando is very open, but there are rumors that they're lease will be up in a couple of years and since Universal owns them they might be moving the park onsite at Universal!!

We love Wet n Wild. (Even better than the WDW ones)
We are a family of four, last year when we went my dd's were 13 & 8.
I'm not sure on the skiing thing as it was closed at the time we went. We are now planning another vacation for Next year And since buget is tight this time we decided to only go to WnW alot and SW. Have Fun.:jumping1:

I have been checking for pricing to Wet N Wild for my son's senior trip. I was wondering if there were coupons in the fliers you can pick around town, or if I should just go ahead and buy them on the website ahead of time?

We are coming down in April to celebrate graduation with my son and his friend. Thanks, Connie

Hi! I asked the OP how many they had in the family and when they were going, but they haven't responded, so I'll make the offer to you. Since your son and his friend are graduating, hopefully, this can be a gift to them.

I have three old Wet'N'Wild tickets good for one day's admission each. I have been told by WnW (over the phone) that the tickets are still good and don't expire. I don't know that for sure though, because I haven't tried.

If you would like to have these tickets, please PM me with your address, and I'll send them to you.

bscs, I know you posted first, and I would have offered them to you, but since you said you're going to WnW a lot, you'll do better with a pass while you're there instead of a day ticket. The length of stay pass is only $49.95. http://www.wetnwildorlando.com/tickets.html

I would really appreciate those tickets!

My boys have researched the area, and that was on the must do list! Disney got bumped off the list tho, so we are going to Orlando without seeing Disney, go figure! That would be teenaged brains for you.

We love Disney but have been to Orlando LOTS of times and didn't go there. However, my DD (almost 20) will complain loudly when she has to miss going to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. :rotfl:

I just noticed that you only have 2 posts, and I think I read somewhere that you have to have more posts than that to do a PM. I'll PM you, and hopefully, you'll be able to respond to it with your mailing info.

Islands of Adventure is another must do for them. My hubby says he has to go to Bahma Breeze, and I am going to enjoy anything since I won't have to chase a 2yr old! I may relax in the hotel for a few hours alone!
I don't know how much time to plan at each thing. Can I get away with Islands & Arabian Nights in one day, and then Wet N Wild and Wide World of Sports another?
Also, is Arabian Nights comparable to Medieval Times? We have never been to either, but our friend liked Medieval Times, and wanted to do something like that! Arabian Nights is alot cheaper!
Thanks in advance to all you experts out there. We someday will have been to Orlando enough to know our way around and be able to give advice to others, I hope! Probably at least 5 times as we will have 5 graduates. LOL

I've never been, but my parents really enjoyed Arabian Nights. They said it was a great show. Have you checked ticketmania.com or mousesavers.com for reduced priced tickets.

Also, you may already know, but just in case you don't, US/IOA has 7 day tickets right now for $85.

busymom_of5,

I PM'ed you on Friday but haven't heard back from you yet. In case you're not sure what to do, look up at the right hand of your screen in the yellow box (says Welcome, busymom_of5). You can click on Private Messages under it.

Someone else has contacted me and said that they would like to have them if yo don't want them. I'll be more than happy to send them out to you, but I'll need an address to mail them to. Thanks!

I PM'ed you a few times and it never said they weren't delivered. Sorry! I would very much appreciate those tickets.

Sorry!

Now that I tried again, I see the error message that it sent me was post count to low. I didn't catch that before!

Okay, I've got the address. Go ahead and edit your post to take the address out. I'll mail them out in the next day or so. Have fun!
