wet suit sizing

At DC do the wet suits come in number sizes or s m l etc? Thanks

When I was there 6 years ago they came in number sizes.

Just note if you have anyone small in your group- They don't have very small adult sizes. I got the smallest women's adult size that I could and it wasn't tight to my skin so I was pretty cold the whole day and it felt gross with sort of a loose wet suit hanging off of me all day and the water was just floating all inside it as I swam. I should have gone back and maybe asked to try a child's, but we were the first dolphin swim of the day and there was no time.

Same thing happened to me, too! I got the smallest adult size wet suit. I later learned they are supposed to be really tight on you with no wrinkles/folds (which mine had). If I decide on a wet suit the next time I visit, I will get the biggest youth size wet suit they have.

Don't worry about it. There team members will size you and give you the one you need. Only worry if it's so tight as to make it so you can't get it on dry or if it's loose.

And the vest is always a better option.
